Excellent Customer Service - Alex!
Item I ordered (Mint Toothpaste) hadn’t arrived as expected, so got in touch with Whites Beaconsfield and spoke with Alex who advised that said item appears to have been lost in the post. Alex, quickly re-ordered the item at no additional cost and I received a few days ago. Thanks Alex for your time and courtesy!

Defective product and they ignore consumer rights
I purchased teeth whitening strips, but the product was defective and terrible quality. After one use, it provided zero whitening effect, irritated my teeth, and left behind a thick, stubborn layer of glue that was incredibly difficult to remove.
When I contacted customer service to report the faulty product, they point-blank refused a refund. They claimed their policy doesn't allow returns on "opened or used" items. I specifically invoked my short-term right to reject defective goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, but they completely ignored it and just repeated their script.
It is literally impossible to discover a product is defective without opening and trying it. A company's internal returns policy does not override UK statutory law. It was only £8.55, so it's not worth the hassle of a bank chargeback, but I strongly advise avoiding this company. Poor products and terrible customer service.

The gel residue left on the teeth after use is also an expected part of the process and indicates the active ingredients are working as intended. For the best experience, we recommend brushing your teeth after use to remove any remaining residue. As our strips use a non-peroxide formula, they are designed to be a gentler option, so we’re sorry to hear you experienced sensitivity.
We also apologise that we fell short in how we communicated with you. We recognise it’s our responsibility to clearly explain product use, listen carefully, and ensure our customers feel supported. From your feedback, it’s clear we could have done better—particularly in explaining the treatment, aftercare, and responding with greater empathy rather than relying on policy-led responses.

My husband ordered toothpaste for us…
My husband ordered toothpaste for us and we received an empty box. He emailed them to tell them what happened and they said it was packed correctly, which it definitely wasn't as there was no toothpaste in the packaging also the box we received had no depth to it the toothpaste would not fit in it. Customer Service is non existent. If I could give a zero for customer service I would. Will never buy their products again.

The only Whitening Products I’ll Use Again
I could not be more impressed with the Whites Beaconsfield whitening products. I bought them on TikTok Shop and they did not disappoint. My teeth haven’t looked this good since I got them professionally whitened years ago. Couldn’t recommend enough!

The residue you noticed is completely normal and is just leftover whitening gel from the strips, and brushing your teeth afterwards will remove it. For best results, we recommend applying the strips to dry teeth, as this helps them adhere more effectively.
