From the initial phone call to the report itself I couldn't ask for more advice and reassurance. Everything was explained well and the screening itself was friendly, efficient and my daughter put well at ease.

My daughter was quite anxious about having a dyslexia assessment. Vicky at White Rose made her feel at ease immediately. She made the test fun and also empowered my daughter by explaining that being dyslexic had nothing to do with intellect as she had said that she felt stupid sometimes.
We both left feeling that the whole experience was a positive one. Vicky was very professional and lovely at the same time. I would strongly recommend the white rose centre to friends.

My daughter has always struggled with Maths and I have banged my head when speaking to teachers about it, I felt I was never listened too, however we discovered we could take a test to try and find out the problem ... White Rose was very efficient, caring and listened to my concerns. My daughter was tested and Vicky spoke to my daughter making her feel at ease and not to worry as there were ways forward should it be needed... my daughters results came back with a severe case of dyscalculia ..: we have since received a full report with steps and links for us and college to help her in her future .. I really appreciate what they have done for us and have spoken very highly of them to family and friends ..
I would recommend anyone with concerns to give White Rose a call and trust your instincts when others dismiss them

We were recommended to attend White Rose Dyslexia Centre by school as School had completed a basic screening and this had highlighted a need for my child to be assessed. I was very impressed with the centre. The assessment happened during the covid period and I felt we were very safe throughout. The assessor completed the tasks with my child and made her feel very comfortable. Once the assessment had been completed the assessment and findings were reported back to myself. The report I received was very informative and helped to put thing into place at school. I feel if I had any further questions, I would feel happy to contact the centre.

Absolutely fantastic service at a very reasonable price, amazing report with great recommendations. I agree with everything in the report 100%. Don't hesitate to go if you're considering it.

I had an assessment with White Rose and they were great. They made the experience better than I could have hoped for. They are very professional and knowledgeable but also caring and friendly which made for a lovely relaxed atmosphere. I can highly recommend White Rose dyslexia centre for anyone who thinks they are dyslexic or have a child that they think might be .As a parent this journey has been a hard and long one for our 9 year old son up until we came here for a full diagnosis test which showed he is Dyslexic . I can say it’s been life changing for him and thanks to Jess who tested our son he’s now on the right track . Jess has truly changed the course of our son life with his report which is so in-depth and professional and with the understanding and compassion Jess has given us as a family his future is much clear . From the very first phone call to inquire they made me feel at ease,Jess totally got our son in the 4 hours she had him which his school haven’t been able to do in 6 years . And now because of his report the school are on the right track . Please don’t look anywhere else I can highly recommend the White Rose Dyslexia Centre . Thanks Jess and Vicky for everything.

A great place to encourage that gentle push in the right direction, when additional support and help is needed.

Our son has attended White Rose for over 2 years now and the progress is invaluable to his learning and confidence.

The staff are so professional and always happy to offer advice and support going the extra mile to help.

It can be difficult for children of a young age to understand why the have to do extra work, however staff here make it fun and offer reassurance

My bright, enthusiastic daughter was crushed, she decided she couldn’t read any books until she’d finished the school reading scheme. Her teacher told me she was her own worst enemy and need to concentrate on her studies - I knew my daughter, I knew there was something amiss.
The team confirmed my suspicions and have helped support my daughter, after about 12 months she was back! She was back on track academically and with support of a different teacher in Y5 ended up getting top of the class in comprehension assessments!
I cannot thank White Rose enough for their help and words of wisdom.
