It's becoming hard work to receive my…

It's becoming hard work to receive my repeat prescriptions it worked better before the app update now won't let me pick from previous orders have to verify once approved from gp every time then wait ages to get text to organise delivery of cd medication from order to delivery is taking 2 weeks so all ways running out of meds not good . I am looking for an alternative delivery service as I really on my meds being delivered hassle free without going days without medication .
Up side customer service is good at responding and easy to contact just wish the actual service was more smoothly

Medication was sent to wrong person. Name on medication was not same name on package.

Worked well for repeat scripts, NOT for urgent care

My doctors surgery can’t handle the difference between the Well Pharmacy next door and Well online. Well online worked as well as it could with my repeat scripts, but if you need urgent care and they mistakenly send it through, you have to go online for Well to release the script to you. Which means dealing with their curt customer service team who don’t deal well with anxious people who need meds.
As for the actual pharmacy in Chilwell, please don’t expect anyone to try and communicate with the doctors next door. Just got told with great relish that the script will take half an hour. When I said it had been over half an hour the lady enjoyed saying that the pharmacist was on lunch so it would be another half an hour. The pharmacist is a great guy but is not supported well by his people.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear about the issues you've faced with online prescriptions and communication between the surgery and pharmacy.

Our online delivery service is for non urgent repeat medication only. Because we are a delivery service patients must allow 7 working days.

Patients can only be nominated to one pharmacy so more often than not prescriptions will be sent to your primary nominated pharmacy. However, we can return a prescription at any point before it has been dispatched, if your request is urgent we recommend you to call us on 0333 010 2222 option 1 (Lines open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm) where we can urgently return this for you.

If you would like to talk to us regarding your concerns, please email your experience to hello@well.co.uk with the pharmacy name and address in the subject bar. This will allow the relevant team to share this with the area manager and allow them to address any issues directly with the pharmacy.

Improvement at wells pharmacy

Improvement at wells pharmacy must say great improvement for a while deliveries none excistant i had to find neibours to collect for myself &my husband as they had no driver but recently they have redeemed themselves im a happy bunny thank you its been very helpful for us

took over a month and the stuff is…

took over a month and the stuff is dirty, got a bad infection from their medication. would not recommend at all. looked them up after the fact and found many violations in the past for everything up to the spread of meningitis. never again.

Easy and reliable

Very easy to order repeat prescriptions. Allows you to see when last order was placed. option for notifications. Never had any problems using the system.

ordered prescription requested delivery. all I got is an email saying to pick up at pharmacy, order does not update still says waiting for approval.
Tried contacting online help, ignored.

It’s automatic!

It’s automatic!
I don’t have to remember to ask a repeat at my GP,
Well do it all.
I can only take a specific brand of medication and they supplied it straight away.

Too long winded.

I received the notification that Well had received my prescription. Payment was made and it confirmed delivery in 4 days. Still waiting and my medication ran out. I'm just hoping they will let me cancel the arrangement so I can just go back to my doctors sending my prescription to my local pharmacy to pick up. Home delivery is too long winded and not helpful.

Absolutely appalling

Absolutely appalling! If you need regular medication I would avoid. Late deliveries, inability to get stock even though it’s freely available, missed prescriptions, missing items, taking prescriptions off the system intended for other suppliers without consent, customer service is dreadful, rude and totally incompetent. Really awful service and experience with lack of accountability, resolution and remorse.

Flu jabs - long wait!

My mother and I booked flu jabs online. We were each given a 5-min time slot. When we arrived the pharmacy was full of people. We were warned the pharmacist doing the jabs was running late. We discovered 2 reasons for this - a 5 minute time slot per person isn't enough time for the pharmacist. In addition, people were being allowed a consultation with the pharmacist (the only one on duty) who hadn't booked any appointment, AND she was then disappearing to check prescriptions behind the counter every 10 minutes! What a shambles. DON'T book your flu jab with them. It is just pure greed on their part. Cram as many people in as they can (you have to pay in advance online of course), then just make them wait :(
