Bought there potato cakes. We have had 3 packets on different occasions. The were overcooked, dry and tasted horrible. When reported they were not interested and just made excuses. Warburton used to b... Leggi di più

Totally inedible bread
Totally inedible bread, I'm talking about the toastie bread, but generally this applies to all the breads in the waxed packing. Pity really as my favourite bread is also made by warburtons. Why do they sell this rubbish which harms their reputztion
No idea whats happened to warburtons…
No idea whats happened to warburtons but it used to be the go to for a decent sandwhich and toast, the green was perfect.
Its changed, no taste, green loaf is now waffer thin and texture seems like bog standard 50p own brand loaves.
Great shame, other brands too have gone the same way.
Why bother paying the premium?
Warburtons Bread PALM OIL
I will not be using this sticky like chewing gum bread again; the White bread had already gone from our cupboard since the flavour profile went to tasteless glue but now to learn the Brown bread has PALM OIL in.... I will use Morrisons brown bread that does not have PALM OIL in. That’s my part for another rain forest :-)
Tasteless products
Warburton's products have become absolutely tasteless. Might as well eat cardboard. Might be due to reduced salt but this is counter productive as results in people using sugary toppings such as jams and chocolate spreads. I put my jam on leftover Amazon cardboard nowadays- just as good
Worst bread I've ever had !!!
Supposedly THICK toastie loaf is same thickness as medium sliced, as for toasting it you'd be better off buying Danish crispbread because what little moisture contained in the bread evaporates when toasted resulting in a dry slice of toast which has no fluffy centre. Normally buy Hovis thick which always satisfies but it was out of stock so tried Warburton and wish I hadn't. Maybe that's how they can afford the expensive ad campaigns by selling dry thin bread, oh and the wrapping is pretty useless as well...definitely won't be wasting money on that misleadingly labelled rubbish again.
Robbers
In last 18months this company have paid robert di niro an now Samuel L jackson a million each to advertise there bread an my missus brought a toastie home this morning by mistake as i refuse to buy it anymore after there toastie loaf is now the same as a thin loaf penny pinching but willing to pay Hollywood stars millions scandalous an they are ripping us off robbers
Wrapping on Warburtons thick slice bread.
We purchase Warburtons thick slice loafs several times per week and we’ve noticed that 9 times out of 10 the wrapping paper has split meaning that the bread becomes stale quicker or worse accidentally touches other shopping products or the till persons hands. This clearly is a recent change in packaging production and needs to be amended asap - or they will lose sales. Starting with mines (as said circa 12 loafs per month for my family alone)
Worbitons toasty bread is rubbish
Worbitons toasty bread is rubbish, it feels stale as soon as you buy it, ive started buying tesco or sainsbury's own brand toasty bread it's made by kings mill stays fresh and it's cheaper, maybe mr warburton should spend more time improving the quality of his bread instead of expensive actors
Bought a so called thick toastie loaf…
Bought a so called thick toastie loaf today. If this is supposed to be thick sliced I’d hate to see a thin sliced loaf. It’s the worst bread I’ve ever had. Aldi or Lidl bloomer loaves are amazing compared to this rubbish. Half the price too. Just don’t understand how this company can carry on like this.
Toastie loaf wrapping!!
Toastie loaf wrapping!!
Come on Warburtons, do you think we're stupid?
It's become like tissue paper!
Unless you grab it with 'kid gloves' your fingers go straight through the sides of the wrapper.........
I think I know exactly what Warburtons marketing department are sneakily doing, I mean "what could be simpler, make the wrapping thinner 'Save money' on manufacturing - product goes stale quicker when it tears - customer has to purchase new loaf quicker, what a marketing sham! SORT IT OUT WARBIES, we ain't supid!!
PS, I've been using it for 30yrs+!
Found hair in bread loaf
Found hair in bread loaf. My kids had some aswel🥵
Stale feeling on first day
What as gone wrong with this bread, ever since COVID bread bought on best possible date always feels like it’s on day 3 already, today I’m disappointed is understating it. Just does not feel soft anymore.
If you think the orange toastie is…
If you think the orange toastie is thick bread it’s not it’s like a medium slice . Coke on warburtons what’s going on at £1.40 a loaf bring the old style toastie orange pack bread back when the knife didbt go through it went toasted and you’re putting butter on . I would hate to see how thin the blue medium pack is now the green one is the thickness of the orange one before going thinner but can’t get . Please listen to customers as quick as you can earn your millions folk can stop buying products shame as a uk well known firm charging £1.40 for a load that as gone rubbish
Warburtons plant power bread is a great…
Warburtons plant power bread is a great loaf. Really tasty and full of seeds and pulses. Two types 12 seeds and pulses or 21 seeds and pulses both great breads. I don't usually buy factory made bread but this one is different and can compete with shop made bread. Packaging is paper too. Trouble is shops stock limited quantities of it and it sells out quickly so it can be difficult to get.
Shrink Product and Inflate Price !
Shrink Product and Inflate Price !! I am fed up with the constant shrinking of products and the increase in prices. Warbutons I have bought your bread for years you now have one less customer. If more people did what I am doing manufacturers might look after their customers better and not their shareholders.
Warburtons bread is awful these days
Always bought Warburtons and nothing else...lately the loaves have gone really small squares WHY the price they charge and bread was always bigger than any other bread...full of air holes and all mishaped and gone up 50% in price....STOP ADVERTISING YOUR THE BEST BREAD.....YOUR NOT NO MORE....tasteless crap...supermarkets own brands at a third of the price is better better better. We just tried it...I made toast for us all and didn't tell anyone I got a cheap loaf...they all commented....omg this toast is lovely...all stop buying Warburtons and try the cheap Supermarkets white or brown bread it's amazing....Bye Warbys....Your gone and buried....just greed...so sad
Always loved Warburtons toastie bread…
Always loved Warburtons toastie bread and crumpets but what’s happened?!
The slices of the toastie are now the thickness of a medium loaf and it just doesn’t taste the same.
I’ve just eaten some toasted crumpets and they have no taste.
Why would a company sabotage themselves and alienate their customers?!
So no more Warburtons for me and my family.
Such a shame because if they carry on as they are they will eventually go out of business.
Shooting themselves in the foot.
Never thought I’d see the day when I was throwing Warby’s in the bin. Tasteless these days and ridiculously miss shaped to save dough. I used to love their products and champion them to all & sundry. Premier league to non league I’m disappointed to say ( in my opinion)
What has happened to the Toastie loaf
What has happened to the Toastie loaf? It has changed beyond all recognition, thin tasteless and a overly floury texture. Completely different to the quality loaf it used to be.
Warburton no power
War Burton plant power
I was attracted by the promise of various seeds and pulses that are used to make this bread
What a disappointment!
This bread has no ‘body’ it is much too soft to spread butter on it. The slice collapsed. Apart from the small seeds covering the top the rest of the ingredients must have all be milled which makes it no different to brown or whole meal bread.
What a shame. Result: I shall keep well clear of plant power.
