Professional, good delivery of service and no frills. What you want from a car rental service

Whilst I was awaiting delivery of my new vehicle I rented a car from VW Financial Services. Initially had a VW Polo for one day after I returned my old vehicle to the dealership at the end of a lease contract and then a VW Golf for a month. I dealt with Richard Scheininger at VW Watford who was really helpful and very professional. I would say the easiest and most straightforward process of hiring a car to date and would highly recommend and use again should I require a short term car hire. Vehicles were excellent too!

Forget all your other rental companies VW RENTALS is the way forwards for professionalism and seamless proccess.

Car was fine. Customer service was fine. I have a real issue with "like for like" fuel policy. Its dependent on being able to estimate fuel going in at the pump which is tough on a car you know well, let alone a rental vehicle. The most fair policy is "full to full" as a fuel pump clicks off when the tank is full and there is no question about it. If the fuel policy was full to full this would be a 5-star rating.

It was not a rigorous process, simple meaningful steps to get the documents signed and every step was explicitly explained to the rentee. The contact person in the name of Richard was absolutely professional and friendly. The vehicle was properly inspected for any defects, inside was shown to us and everything on how to operate the vehicle was shown to us. The vehicle very neat. I would recommend this company to friends and family.

I rented from Watford branch when they first opened and have been with them for over a year now can assure you this is the easiest rental firm out there. Got to give a big thanks to Richard for always sorting it
