I booked a car over the phone and collected it from Clare at the desk she was very kind she made everything easy and simple. The car was nice and affordable.

I initially had a concerning experience where a payment was taken, but no booking confirmation was received, and the reservation didn’t appear in my account.

I reached out to the Volkswagen Leeds branch directly, and I’m very grateful for the support I received - especially from Claire Jones, who was extremely helpful, reassuring, and professional throughout what was quite a stressful situation.

The issue was resolved promptly, and I’m very happy with the outcome.

Mistakes can happen with any service, but what really matters is how they are handled - and in this case, the response and support were excellent.

She was friendly, approachable, and always quick to respond, making the whole process stress-free. The vehicle was in great condition, and everything was organised smoothly from start to finish. After having my car stolen, I then had a very bad and expensive experience with a locally based national car rentals. DM Keith in Leeds however was a complete breath of fresh air! I went there to look for a replacement car and fortunately met Rupert Green who deals with the rentals (which I was unaware they did). First the price was very reasonable and included insurance. Rupert was very calm and assured, extremely pleasant and professional. Fortunately a week later, I now have my replacement car. If I ever need car rental again, Rupert and DM Keith will definitely be the place I will go to, despite it being 20 miles away compared to my local rip off national rental company which is a 15 min walk. They are literally a world apart!

Collect car, sign the papers, off on way, hassle free, courteous service.

I recently returned my car to D.M. Keith for a recall repair, hoping for a smooth process but instead encountered one frustration after another.

To begin with, the courtesy car I was given, though an excellent vehicle, was dirty upon pickup. I ended up cleaning it myself, only to have my plans change and barely use the car. When it was time to return the courtesy car and collect my vehicle, the process seemed seamless—until I noticed my own car had been returned in a dirty condition as well, with no explanation or acknowledgment.

As I was arranging to get my car cleaned, I received a call asking me to return to the dealership immediately. When I arrived, I was initially told there was “damage” to the courtesy car, and I was asked to wait for a manager. After about 15 minutes, I was informed there was no issue and that I could leave. This back-and-forth, with accusations and then a quick dismissal, was unsettling and frustrating, especially given my previous complaints about the handling of this entire recall experience.

It’s disheartening to feel like my time and concerns haven’t been respected throughout this process. From the initial recall and substandard customer service, through this latest confusing and uncomfortable encounter, I’ve been left feeling anything but satisfied.

Fantastic experience from start to finish, this was our first time hiring from D M Keith's, they were so friendly and professional, and the Skoda Kodiaq that we hired was just amazing, spacious and comfortable, what a lovely car to drive. Thank you
