The staff were very helpful. The VW Caddy was high quality at a reasonable price and was perfect for accommodating our visiting family and all the gear needed for the grandchildren. Would recommend to friends and family.

I chose VWFS for their transparency in pricing - the quote didn't spiral out of control with lots of hidden add on charges. Although I booked after office hours on a Friday I got exactly the car I expected on the Monday morning. It was clean, young, low mileage and an excellent drive. The staff were very helpful at start and finish of the rental. Will definitely use them again.

After being let down by 2 National car hire firms. I found VWfs locally. We were on holiday in a motorhome but didn’t want to use it for days out etc so decided to hire a car. The staff were very helpful and courteous. I had a brand new VW within 2 hours, and much cheaper than the nationals. My deposit was repaid within the 48 hours. I shall defiantly use them again when we are on holiday. Highly recommended

Before I booked my hire car was informed by the manager on site that a new car would be available, but was given one that looked quite shabby. Small dents, chips and scratches and seats inside were stained. The interior smelt so bad I had to fabreeze the seats. The fuel tank was also empty, in fact the warning light was on so I had to find a garage to fill it up with diesel. Whilst driving on the motorway the tyre light came on, so I had to try and find a garage to pump them up. All tyre pressures had different/low readings which I believe hadn't been checked for some time. I have raised the issues with the office but have not received a formal apology from anyone. I found the whole experience very frustrating and won't be recommending VWFS rent a car Ipswich to any friends or family.
