Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service
After 1 week I have managed to pick up the item myself from the collection point with no help from the Vileda customer service patronising me with explanations which didn't make any sense and saying I cannot return the item because I have to pay a fee in regards of their policy I think some companies are not meant to be sellers just manufacturers due the fact of unexperienced staff ,if you consider buying their products go through different sellers Amazon etc.

I bought the rubbish Vileda SUPADRY 60M…

I bought the rubbish Vileda SUPADRY 60M and wish I hadn’t. I was expecting a wonderful product for the price but not so. It is far too high for me and I am average height. I have got a man to put it up on a couple of occasions as I don’t have the strength to clip it in. When I have hung washing on it, it has collapsed for no reason. I am having to use my old partly broken dryer. I was going to return as not fit for purpose but found it to be non-returnable!

Zero customer service - poor quality

All the comments on their customer service are correct - there is zero customer service. All the means of contacting them displayed on the products are just to tick a regulatory box - no interest in hearing or addressing product quality issues.

Dreadful customer service

My Vileda retractable washing line about six months old broke so I contacted them via phone and had to leave a message which they said they would reply to. They didn't. So I left another message. Still no response. I then sent then a email but they still couldn't be bothered to reply.
They charge a premium price but provide a dreadful customer service.

Appalled at the service

Bought the Cordomatic Retractable Washing Line in March 2025. It broke within a couple of weeks. I contacted the Vileda customer service, via the telephone and email, left my contact information and today it is the 17th July 2025 and have never received any response. This company should be ashamed of their behaviour!

Retractable washing line broke after two months' use. This replaced a similar Vileda item which stopped retracting after two years. Argos won't replace or refund without code from Vileda. Vileda do not answer the phone, do not call back or reply to emails. Absolutely appalling customer service.

I purchased a Vileda Mop

I purchased a Vileda Mop, it developed a leak from the spray nozzle. I emailed Vileda and after several emails I was asked to supply a short Vid of the issue, proof of purchase etc, all done same day. The problem was reported 16/5, reply was give 23/5 advising my mop would be replaced. Its now 10/6, no sign of any replacement mop. No replies to my daily emails, no responses with anything positive from direct messaging on FB, other than it takes 3 days to get a response, and when you chase, same " bot " message comes back, wait 3 days. When you have an issue with a product, the only way a brand can salvage its reputation is by a good Customer Service Dept, sadly Vileda does not have that. Reading so many FB messages , I seem to be one of many, many customers saying the same thing. Faulty product and no customer service, no responses . I would not recommend anybody buys a Vileda product, not because all of their products are bad, but simply because if there is an issue, it will NOT be attended to.

Appalling customer service!!!
I bought a Turbo Smart Spin Mop system at £28.99 at the end of November 2024 and after about 10 uses the handle fell apart making it useless. Wanting to see if I could get a replacement handle, I tried to call them on numerous occassions and left messages for a call back as requested, I have sent 6 emails advising of the issues and have completed an online enquiry including photos and now after almost 6 weeks of waiting I have still had no response or acknowledgement from anyone.
I think this is unacceptable and disgusting from any company and especially a large company such as Vileda. Don't expect any support or backup from this shower!!!

Poor Sales Service

I ordered and paid for a Vileda Steam Mop on Tue 25 March in the morning with the promise on their website that if ordered before 2.00 pm delivery is guaranteed on the following day. Needless to say that I received no mop, logging into the Vileda account my order does not appear, yet the money has been paid and a confirmation order has been produced Order Confirmation 125746734. Very poor sales service. I am wondering if I ever will get this mop.

Exceptional Customer Service Experience with Vileda UK

I recently had an issue with a damaged parcel, and I must say, the customer service from Vileda UK was absolutely exceptional! Special thanks to Alexa for her swift response and professionalism in handling the situation.

The replacement process was quick and hassle-free, with clear and friendly communication throughout. This wasn’t my first experience with Vileda, and every time, their products and service have exceeded my expectations.

It’s evident that the team takes pride in maintaining high standards, both in their products and the support they provide. I’m genuinely impressed and would highly recommend Vileda to anyone.

Customer service appears to be…

Customer service appears to be non-existent. Phone number does not accept calls and you are to email.

3 emails to them not answered. The problem I have is that the Vilada Star ironing board collapsed when my wife tried to fold it. A plastic bar had come loose and all the bits were floating around wildly! I have managed to re-assemble it but have 3 times asked Vileda for a picture of the correct installation of the bar to check my work, but they have not replied.

If anyone can provide one that would be very useful!

Laundry company will not accept a return due to it having been installed. Broke socket back out of concrete and have £90 of scrap laying in the garage now.

Vileda - struck off for me

I bought a Vileda Sprint 20 3 Tier Airer on 19/06 to replace one that was broken after a slip. Having used various Vileda products for many years, I expected the same quality.
However I was very much mistaken.
On arrival, the airer was missing a crucial screw, which was essential and rendered the product completely unusable. This was incredibly disappointing, as I was relying on the airer to dry my laundry. Furthermore, the airer was packed in an excessive amount of plastic. This was particularly concerning as Vileda promotes itself as a sustainable brand that encourages air drying laundry. The amount of plastic used seemed contradictory to these values.
Adding to my concerns, I was unable to find any information on the Vileda website regarding the product's country of manufacture. Transparency about the product's origin is important for making informed purchasing decisions.
I kindly requested the refund for the order on June 20 (the day I received the airer). On the 27th of June, I received and email that a full refund had been issued and that it should arrive in 1 to 3 working days to the bank account. Later, on July 9th I received confirmed that the refund was issued on 27 of June, despite I hadn't received the refund. I had to submit a request through the bank to receive the refund a month later.
For me Vileda is struck off.

This was bought to replace an old Vileda airer that we threw away when moving. That one was over 10 years old, still going strong, but looking slightly the worse for wear. Having used Vileda products for many many years, we expected the same quality. How wrong we were. Cheap quite nasty and not very strong in comparison to previous products. Never will trust them again. Now a manufacturer to avoid. It shows how poor it is, that Vileda have to sell an extension to raise it up, as it's far too low to use comfortably. And shows how prevalent the complaints are, that they are out of stock, presumably they cannot keep up with the demand to make these airers usable, for anyone but a vertically challenged child.

Best stick with an old-style mop

Bought a spin mop. Terrible design. Pad on the bottom was attached with some sort of velcro type fitting. Very quickly the wet soon head came lose. I bought spares, same started happening. Handle cones loose due to spin motion making threads between handle pieces come apart. Spin function stopped became jammed and stopped working. Customer support useless. I’ll stick with an old fashioned mop from now on.

Poor Customer Service

Received a rotary dryer from contractor when we built our house. There were parts missing been trying since April to get these parts. Originally when I tried they sent the wrong parts, then was told in May parts were unavailable, until end of May beginning June. Still no sign I have emailed several times with no response. I am very happy to pay for parts, if I could only get them to answer a call or email. Which I explained at the beginning. Very poor customer service

Does German design and quality even exist anymore? I purchased the Vileda Sun-Rise rotary drier which is not cheap and is positioned as a premium product.

The product is heavily promoted online, and although very innovative and visually appealing, it is let down by poor quality and design.

I'm becoming increasingly fed up of paying for premium products which aren't up to standard then wasting my time trying to fix the issue myself. There's also the hassle of undoing installation and returns!

There is play (movement) within the socket insert which translates to a wobbly drier, this is made even worse by additional play in the aluminium pole where only one screw secures them together.

Additionally, the cord mechanism for opening is very stiff - I'm a strong guy and struggle to pull it open without lifting it out the socket.

Who designed and tested this product? Most likely outsourced to China. Companies really need to get their act together as consumers are now wise and don't forget so easily.
