Upper management leave a lot to be desired

I haven’t worked for Videopro for a few years and just stumbled upon a new change of management tonight after a google. No wonder the business is struggling and receiving poor reviews. Their new CEO, Cameron Douglas is one of those guys who is nice to your face, but only really cares about himself and his own image. Jason Derry is well, smug as and has his own motives and is easily led by other power brokers in the family company. It’s very much a close knit in-house group at the top. Unrealistic expectations for those underneath. Haven’t bought a thing from Videopro and never will.
Also, I should add It’s very much a high school working environment which is probably reflective of management when they started the company. I’ve never worked in such a boys club environment before and haven’t since. A fish rots from the head down. Unfortunately I needed a job at the time and took it, but there much better workplaces and committee staff out there so please do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

Absolute Joke

Absolute morons. Products don’t work, they ask you send them back for a refund then refuse to refund it. They have not attempted to help me get them working either.

I needed a microphone for work

I needed to purchase a microphone for my work but did not have any idea as to what I was looking for or needed. The team at Videopro Newstead were fantastic. Great service, great knowledge and very friendly. I would highly recommend

Appalling lack of customer service

No response to repeated requests for call back by phone and email over recent weeks. I simply wanted to discuss a potential quote.
When I rang the head office who handle this equipment nobody was available to take the call. Today I asked for a call back again. I stressed that if this request was not in their scope that they just had to tell me.

I rang salesman to check on stock levels which I was told in stock at supplier and no problem timeframe 2- 3 days. So I paid for purchase via bank transfer on that basis ( as availability was the most critical aspect of my purchase from Videopro. After waiting 3 days for a response , I was informed that during that time stock had run out at supplier. But it was OK because they would have stock back in approx time two weeks. THIS IS TOTALLY MISLEADING ADVERTISING AND MY PURCHASE WAS FALESLY PRESENTED TO GAIN MY PURCHASE.
DONT MAKE PROMISES THAT YOU CANNOT KEEP
Very disgruntled customer

Worst purchase ever

Avoid this place at all costs because they sold me a faulty Toshiba Satellite C50/D Laptop on Wednesday 13th November 2013 as it didn't work, there was no DVD Burner and the USB Port had scratches on it as well. The management is very rude and abusive to their customers because they could not careless about them also they kept blaming me and saying that I caused the damage, which I never did so I would definitely shop elsewhere from now on.

Better Service Fast Delivery

Compared with others Videopro has the fastest shipping, good communication if problems, items sent always brand new. Always have been informed if item is posted or not so know when to expect it, you can rely on them to get your gear on time or if any issues they will let you know unlike the terrible customer service you get from most other well known companies. Have been purchasing Pro Gear since 2020.

Finally, great service

So I purchased the Marantz SR6015 and holy moly is it an absolute beast of a machine. I know this review is for the store but if people reading this review (if any) are looking for a semi expensive but complete monster, get this. Don't even think about it, just get it.

Video Pro as a company sent this off in the fastest I've ever had after purchasing something online. They were helpful with any questions I had and kept me in the loop with where it was during transit. They even sent me the email for the $500 gift card associated with the purchase. Also, I paid very little for faster shipping and quicker sorting to get the item on its way. So good c:
