Slow but positive outcome
Very little issues except slow unfortunately.
On both applications it took around 3 weeks.
However they offer a good amount of options to buyers with a complicated situation and my application was eventually accepted!

Great service from Vida
Great service from Vida - after having to re-submit the case, due to a client error - the underwriter (Raymond) picked the case up, assessed, cross referenced the original applicant, and was able to issue the offer on the same day. Excellent service, and the pro-activity is refreshing.

We had a great experience with Vidahome Loan. Once all the required documents were submitted, they progressed our case very swiftly and kept things moving without unnecessary delays. Applied a Right to Buy Mortgage over 8 months ago with vida home loan and today they refused our mortgage by their underwriter the reason for decline the mortgage is because their were no sale in that block for the passed 5-6 years thats the reason for the mortgage decline this is a reddiculs reason we ever heard that a mortgage could decline if no sale were go through in a block the survey report was ok we paid survey fee & application fee mounting to nearly £700 pounds and now they are saying this is the issue for the mortgage decline no wonder they take all the fee upfront and rip you off with these extortion fees i am going to complain to FCA for the return of our survey fee and the application fee this company is disgraceful in ever corner and responding to a inquiries it take ages for them to get back seems like we are in stoneage Waiting & waiting for an update and then they make any sort of reason to decline your mortgage when we applied they said it will take 4-5 weeks from start to finish and after 8 months the decline our mortgage

We’re sorry to read your review and have looked into this matter further for you. Your application was submitted by an intermediary on 30th September. On the 23rd October, our Underwriter requested an update due to not receiving any further updates since initial assessment. Your Intermediary confirmed that you were on holiday as was the Intermediary until 3rd November. We subsequently withdrew the Application due to requests still outstanding after this deadline and refunded the valuation fee back to you on 11th November. We have had no further correspondence from your Intermediary or yourselves since that period. Should you need any further clarification, please reach out to your Intermediary in the first instance. If you need anything further from Vida, you can email us on support@vidahomeloans.co.uk.
