Useless!
Had to return a pair of shoes as they were slightly too large, and needed to order a smaller size. I got the cash refunded, but continued to wait on any news of my £70 gift card that I used on the transaction. Nothing was mentioned about gift cards on any of the refund emails, so i messaged, and it turns out it gets returned to the same gift card, which I threw away after I was done ordering the 2 week prior to returning them. How stupid! It doesn't say anywhere on it that it's to be kept.
Online help said they couldn't do anything and that I need to get in touch with whoever bought it and go into store to sort it out. How useless! I needed to order these shoes for holiday so they'll arrive in time so I'm being made to pay the full £130.

Absolutely appalling Vans on line orders and customer service. I have turned my awards into promo vouchers of £75 the vouchers do not work on their site or any discount code. I only gave less than a month to use these. Waste of time speaking chatting on line or emails. To only be told we are sorting out the o line system it will be up and running within 48 hours still not working after 8 days. The told to order without code sent order number then they will refund be the £25 promo vouch ( can o lay use one per item over £35 which does not include the postage cost). Did all this several phone calls emails chats on line to be told give them a further 24 hours. Love list d fed with in this companies online site chats emails phone calls. When I asked for a complaints form I was informed they only do surveys after the case is closed. Never again😡
Poor Customer Service
I do love Vans backpacks and they are high quality and last longer than the likes of Nike. However, it’s the service which makes me reluctant to purchase further direct from Vans. First, Vans exposed my personal data in a data breach resulting in large volumes of regular spam mail containing scams, luckily I was using iCloud Hide my Email but my other data is still vulnerable. No sympathy offered, compensation or protection meaning I had to purchase identity protection costing me.
I trusted them again for an order. Delivery stated 2-4 days, however, this is only after dispatch. However, the order was not dispatched on time and customer service just read from the website, refused call from manager. Disappointing service.

Avoid! Placed an order over 2 weeks ago, no communication. Apparently Yodel tried to deliver, yet I’m still waiting for a tracking number to be sent. If you have a PayPal account, raise a ticket to get your money back.

I'm extremely frustrated with VANS for completely ignoring me as a customer. It's absolutely unacceptable that you didn't even contact me. My parcel 69820807 wasn't delivered, and I hold both you as the seller and Yodel, who has been completely dishonest, responsible. This is the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I have left negative comment on social media, Trustpilot, Google reviews and reported you to Trading Standards. Case Number: 19261300 this is the 3rd one. You indeed are useless.
Waiting and waiting
As most other reviews have stated there is just no customer service. I placed my order and expected delivery within the 3-4 days stated at checkout and the order is still showing as 'pending'.
It is not possible to contact the company via their website as the buttons do not actually work.
Clearly there is something very wrong with the company and it is no longer the company many of us have grown up buying from. It is not trustworthy or dependable. I regularly order from companies all over the world, including some very small countries, who give realistic and honest delivery times and manage to deliver within that reasonable time frame. Vans has absolutely no excuses.
I can't speak for the quality of these most recent items as I'm still waiting for delivery.
Edit: The quality of the items is fantastic - the skate shoes and bag are brilliant, fit well and will last a while. Delivery took an incredibly long time and the company needs to sort this out. I haven't bought from them since due to this.

I had excellent customer service
Just ordered 2 pairs (different sizes) and one was delivered quickly, was having to wait for the other. Was informed but could have been clearer. Turns out first pair were the right size so cancelled the other pair to save posted and return. Customer service was excellent, super fast and efficient. I was very impressed and don't normally review stuff but when i saw the bad reviews on here I thought I would praise a company for getting it right - Very Impressed.

Replies to Customer service emails seem to take weeks and handily come more often than not when the delivery has finally come
I mean definitely buy if you love vans but don't plan on a quick delivery. You're going to wait a good while!

Good quality materials. I have a real nice jacket, from them. Just get it in person, and you should be fine. I didn't order mine online.
very bad customer service and quality
seeing other reviews on Trustpilot I don't think my faulty shoes replacement will be done by Vans, so far my experience includes multiple emails asking for additional pictures, and each time I have to wait a week, hard not to get the feeling the company is doing this on purpose so at some point you realise this is not worth the hassle. Sadly I liked vans, but its time to find another brand.

They promise 3-5 working days and cant manage twice that. The chat gives excuses that it's from Europe but absolute nonsense. They also try to blame the courier who havent even had receipt of the parcel from Vans. Other sellers can manage this why cant a big company like Vans?? Poor customer service and poor management. The chat agent tried to cancel my order like that would help.
If you need your purchase sooner than a month I wouldn't bother.

Delivery absolutely terrible. Had to chase 2-3 times to be told the courier had an issue. Did nothing but blame the courier, taking no responsibility for the item. If this is the case, better couriers need to be used, as the only person affected directly is the consumer. Great products, but terrible delivery service directly with the brand. Extremely disappointed after wearing their shoes for over 20 years!

Vans want to sell in the UK, but benefit from cheaper warehousing and dispatching from outside of UK. That might work for them, but for customers, it is terrible. I place an order 5 days ago, yet the item is still with sender. Vans say it has left them and is with international courier and that my item will arrive 9 working days after ordering. What a bunch of cowboys. Literally every other online retailer can run rigs around them. I will NEVER buy vans again now. And you have to ask, why don't they respond to all these negative reviews? Tragic.

Purchased a gilet through ASOS as they are now a brand partner, selling and distributing via ASOS’ website.
My order was returned 5 weeks ago, however Vans seem to have lost my return or not processed it.
I’ve contacted customer services twice and was told somebody would respond to my issue within 48 hours, we’re at 6 days now since I last contacted them.
I’m now £38 out of pocket, without the item I even purchased. Call it theft if you will. Absolute shambles of a company.
