I spent over £1,000 on carpet fitting and was shocked to find they left all the waste behind without any warning. At no point during booking, fitting, or in their terms and conditions was it mentioned that I’d be responsible for waste disposal. I had to pay for collection myself as part of a larger job, which added to my costs. When I raised this to them via email, they vaguely referred to a “law” but gave no details about this which is honestly just ridiculous. Poor communication and disappointing service for the price.

What a sham bunch of cowboys this company is, especially the fitters. We bought carpets and vinyl flooring for our new first floor apartment and paid upfront as you do. the fitters arrived two hours beyond schedule and were exceptionally rude towards us, the carpets were of very poor quality and more thinner than what we had paid for. So this is what happened.... The fitters and store staff offered no apology for arriving two hours late and once they did arrive, complained that the flat was cold and demanded we put the heating on. then they said that the stair carpet would not go under the front door at the bottom of the stairs so only put the carpet to the last step and left the bottom area completely bare, we notices threads coming from that said carpet and asked for these to be removed but the fitters just told us to remove them ourselves with scissors! Not professional at all. They then spoke very abruptly to us and told us to "Stop moaning" when we pointed out that the vinyl flooring appeared to be the wrong shade and not the one we selected, I called the store and explained this but was told the one we selected was out of stock so they gave us a similar shade. Exactly two weeks later the stair carpet started fraying at the edges with more loose threads and the vinyl started to come away from the corners, more calls to the store proved fruitless because we were given one excuse after another and another. In the end we had to removed the whole carpets and vinyl flooring due to such poor quality and buy everything new from elsewhere, more expense but at least we got decent quality this time and everything was fitted to the high standard we didn't get from United.

I found this company and the staff that work there, especially the manager very helpful . Advise me what was best and show me exactly what I won’t . The service was very good informing me every step of the way very helpful. I will highly recommend these. This is not the first time I have used them so this is why I went back. 👍👍👍

Service was on time and to a very good standard.
The flooring was competitively priced,and everything was as promised.

The staff members in the shop are really friendly. Prices are reasonable and fitting times quick. Really happy with the quality and fit. Would definitely return

Bought carpet and mattress , both delivered as planned but issue with mattress , sorted very quickly and professionally, have used many times,

The hardest part was choosing the colour. The purchasing and install date were easy. The two fitters were quick, efficient and left it clean & tidy. Overall we are highly satisfied. We'll be back for the three bedroom carpets when we're ready.

Excellent service from the team at the Crossgates Leeds store. Even when we messed up with the sizing for one of our carpets, they were very accomodating and came and fit it for us within a couple of days. Will definitely go back :)

Brilliant came two days after placing order in the shop & perfect fit. Very helpful in the shop when choosing carpet & not extortionate prices. Have used them in the past with no problems 👍
