When I had questions for the customers service, they answered a bit late. I needed to call them at several occasions. But the driver was really service oriented.

Extremely disappointing service from start to finish.

We paid £695 for a minibus for 14 passengers and 14 small suitcases. Unfortunately, the vehicle provided was extremely cramped, particularly with the luggage, and there were several serious concerns about the safety and condition of the vehicle.

On the outward journey on 11 September, the driver nearly pulled out in front of another vehicle. After a toilet stop, he also began driving away before everyone was seated, and the door struck one of our passengers’ arms as it was closed.

On the return journey on 14 September, the biggest concern came when the driver had to use a screwdriver to open the door from inside the vehicle. Having to use a screwdriver to operate a passenger door is extremely concerning and raises obvious questions about whether the vehicle was safe and suitable for carrying passengers.

There was also a major communication issue regarding the luggage. Despite our booking clearly being for 14 passengers and 14 small suitcases, the driver had apparently been told that he only needed to accommodate “a couple of bags”. There was also a baby car seat and pushchair already taking up space inside the vehicle, making an already cramped journey even worse.

The driver’s attitude throughout was also unwelcoming and made the experience even more unpleasant.

What has made this experience even more frustrating is the complete lack of response to our complaint. I emailed a formal complaint on 15 September outlining the above issues and requesting an investigation and appropriate partial refund/compensation. I chased this on 22 September and still received no response. On 23 September, I was then asked to leave a review. I replied to that email pointing out that I could hardly review the service positively when my formal complaint had still not even been addressed.

As of 29 September, I still have not received a proper response to my complaint. I have now had to telephone to chase this further and was told that someone would call me back.

We paid £695 and expected safe, reliable and reasonably comfortable transport. Instead, we experienced an unsuitable and extremely cramped vehicle, worrying safety issues, poor communication and then a complete lack of customer service when we raised our concerns.

I would not use this company again and, based on our experience, cannot recommend them.

Ordering process felt a little shady (like not sure if I was getting scammed or not). In the end enough 2-way communication with Katie to trust it. This was also very much a 'you get what you pay for' experience. The bus was 'clean' but not pretty (old, rusty, etc.) and the driver also less than professionally presentable. But she got us from A to B and back again. If that's your primary concern then it's great value for money.

I booked with this company back in May ready for our journey in September to the airport. I dealt with Sharon who was extremely helpful. I had no problems whatsoever. Sharon communicated well I received a text the day before pickup with driver details and contact number. Rob turned up ahead of schedule and was accommodating as we needed a refreshment break.
Return journey just as smooth a big shout out to Eli. We were waiting in the wrong place 🙈he kindly walked to find us he then assisted with helping with suitcases.

I scheduled an 08:30 return pickup from Southampton for my family—including a toddler and two retirees. Instead of a smooth trip home, ukminibushire.com treated us to a surprise 4.5-hour endurance test at the terminal after the original vehicle broke down.

After hours of listening to the primary and backup drivers play an absolute blinder of a game called "guess where the backup driver is" (clue: still in London), our replacement chariot finally rolled up at nearly 1:00 PM.

The replacement vehicle was a masterclass in modern automotive styling, complete with complimentary interior rubbish and passenger windows structurally secured with premium, although somewhat 'flappy', duct tape. Truly luxury travel at its finest.

On the day, the original driver, who I spoke with frequently during our 4.5 hour wait, kindly agreed that a £200 refund was fair compensation for our extended terminal stay. However, upon our return, the company owner spent the next three weeks playing a thrilling game of "not my problem, chase the driver," apparently oblivious to how contracts or UK consumer law actually work.

What future customers need to know is that this company operates purely as a broker, subcontracting jobs out to third party providers. When things go wrong, they aggressively try to use these subcontractors as a human shield to evade financial and legal liability.

Ukminibushire.com tried to play a game of corporate chicken to save a couple of hundred quid, and ended up facing a credit card clawback (my credit card company were excellent in that regard), merchant dispute consequences, black marks with Trading Standards, an active file with Bus Users UK, and this Trustpilot review, all of which I had promised after chasing this refund for a couple of weeks.

If you are looking for punctual, safe, and professional transport, look for a reputable company that actually owns its fleet rather than a broker. If you like long waits, rubbish-filled vehicles, and a heavy reliance on duct tape that flaps the whole journey, look no further.

The transport arrived on time and the driving team were professional. No complaints.

Booking process- We paid a 20% deposit to hold our booking and Sharon sent a reminder a few days before our departure date.
Service - Our driver Sebastian was punctual and patient. Sebastian drove 12 of us between Aberdeen and Lossiemouth, Scotland to attend a family wedding.
He was very understanding when we called him the day before to delay the departure time by an hour due to changes in the wedding programme and later the reception venue changes.
