This was my first introduction to the company Tropical Sky. Going in, I had no expectation of the customer service that would be presented since I've been unfamiliar with this booking agency. I drafted an email inquiring on their luxury wedding packages that they offered through this booking agency. Within 24-hours, I was greeted by Katie Guy who helped me throughout this entire process. From providing timely responses on inquiries, to being very adaptive to additional requests / preferences. She was very understanding and supportive in finding packages that covered everything we inquired on. Katie personifies the customer relations aspect that any customer would want to be greeted and supported with. As long as Katie Guy is a representative of this company. Any future trips needing to be booked from my family will be going through Tropical Sky. Excellent service. Exemplary professionalism.

I have dealt with Katie Guy on a number of occassions when booking holidays with Tropical Sky. I find Katie to be a true professional in every sense of the word. She is courteous, patient and most helpful, nothing seems to be a problem for her and God knows I can be a pain at times but she always perservers with me and always finds a solution and a deal that works for me. Thank you most sincerely Katie and thank you for your perserverance with me. You are a dream and Tropical Sky are lucky to have someone of your calibre. Keep up the good work.

This is our second time booking with tropical sky. We booked our honeymoon with them a few years ago and it was seamless. This time we had a large group booking with 5 families. Thanks to our travel expert Katie Guy we now have an amazing family holiday booked. Katie went above and beyond her role for us with multiple quotations and options to suit all the family. Katie really loves her job and it shows! She was super helpful and really quick getting back to all our questions. Tropical sky are very lucky to have her on their team and thanks to Katie we will continue to book our family holidays with Tropical Sky!!!

Toronto, Banff, Vancouver inclusive with 2 days on the Rocky Mountaineer (Gold Line). A well organised holiday we have just had. 12th -23rd September 2024..My wife and I had a great time , not just great but AWSESOME! .We were sent vouchers for Hotels as well as flight details and instructions how to join the Rocky Mountaineer. Also details for JONVIEW our contact in Canada in case things went wrong. This was important to us ,as we had not done a unaccompanied holiday before. Our flight from Heathrow was delayed which meant we would miss our connection in Toronto. I contacted customer services Tropical Sky who then passed the message to Jonview. Our transport was waiting for us when we arrived in Toronto. All the Hotels we stayed in were very clean , and the desk staff were very helpful printing boarding passes. . Anyone thinking about riding the Rocky Mountaineer Train go for GOLD its a 5 STAR Experience in itself .Given the chance to do this type of holiday again we will certainly be contacting TROPICAL SKY.

The good:
We’ve been using Tropical Sky for long haul for almost 15 years. In that time we’ve never been let down. Tickets, tours, customer service, picks ups, hotels, internal flights, car hire, taxis, guides - all has gone to plan. We do always try and compare prices with other competitors but as Tropical Sky can offer discounted rates with partner hotels and have an out of date range with the airlines allowing you to book well ahead they have never been beaten on price compared to other holiday companies.
The not so good:-
Since covid tropical sky have had difficulty in retaining staff. They have put a receptionist in place to intercept calls, she/he takes details and promises that somebody will call back, but in some cases they don’t, which means you end up chasing them!! It is so frustrating especially when you’re the customer. just hope they get enough staff in place and are able to retain them as they will only end up losing business . Sort this out and you’ll deserve 5 stars.

After looking at a few hotels through Tropical Sky, we chose one in Rhodes old town, convenient flight times, both taxi transfers arranged for us, to and from the hotel, friendly and informative of the island, the hotel suited our holiday perfectly, close to the beach, two pools, plenty of choices to eat in the hotel, all food delicious and very friendly staff. I would recommend Tropical Sky to others.

Don’t go with them. They lie about your travel. An awful experience. A £22000 holiday and she lied to us about our upper class travel. We lost a £2,500 deposit but worth losing to go with Virgin. Shop around before booking with them,

Our holiday to Thailand was lovely and well organised unfortunately hours before we were due to depart for home our British Airways flight was cancelled. We contacted Tropical Sky travel to be advised it is nothing to do with them but to contact airline directly??? Not great customer service I would not recommend or use again we had to find to find our own way home and significantly out of pocket but someone owes us a refund for flights booked paid for but cancelled

I sent all the information you requested and still I have heard nothing from you????

Recently went on a coach tour of Canada, things didn’t all go to plan but not a disaster. Compensated was agreed between both parties in GBP but when settlement was paid in Euros meaning they paid a lower figure. Because we originally paid in euros.
Is this not THEFT on their behalf

They organised the holiday and wedding, everything in Mauritius went so smoothly because of their planning, can't thank them enough.

We had spectacular service from Brendan P at Tropical Sky. Despite not going for our original plan with him due to potentially adverse weather at our desired destination, we always had Brendan as our go-to in hopes that we'd be able to book through him as really brought us relief and restored our excitement. We had poor experiences from other travel agencies so it was a no brainer to turn back to Brendan at Tropical Sky whenever we wanted to revisit any alternatives. If you want to have a great experience in booking a special holiday, I highly recommend Brendan P!

Whilst we still haven't booked the holiday, yet. I cannot rate this company high enough, specifically the lovely and ever so patient Katarzyna.

The speed and quality (and professional honesty) given is perfect. Give this company a nudge for your holiday/vacation search and wants related.

Tropical Sky were absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process of booking and organising our wedding holiday. They were attentive to emails and questions. They made sure they had prompted us about all the documents we needed in good time, with plenty of countdown emails and reminders. The holiday itself was amazing, the wedding coordinators had everything in hand and made sure we had maximum time enjoying our stay around the meetings and paperwork required. We were in good hands. We only wish we could have stayed longer. I don't think we would have been as calm and relaxed about it all had we done our usual thing and put everything together ourselves to save money. The wedding package and the support we experienced was certainly worth every penny. Mr & Mrs M x

This is our second time booking with Tropical Sky and this holiday was just as exceptionally planned as the first. We went to Bangkok, Ao Nang and Qatar as a family of 6. Every flight, connection, transfer and hotel was perfectly organised. Many thanks to Alex for arranging our trip, we will definitely be back next year.

Having been a TS customer for several years, and happy with previous holidays - this review highlights an issue where you feel isolated as a customer abroad and cannot speak to or contact the local transfer agent, or to anybody from TS as that is not an option.
Our return transfer from resort and instructions from local agent could not have sounded simpler the night we arrived - and were supplied with a contact telephone number for them plus a link to a website to check 36 hours before flight home for time of pick-up transfer - this all sounds too easy doesnt it !!
So, our confirmed pick-up was at 8.45pm on Saturday night, and as advised by our hotel a very busy time and a big change over day for the resort. Our return transfer was a no-show at 8.45pm, so I rang the number from the transfer agent, the phone kept ringing then rang off !! I rang again several times and am certain the phone was picked up and put down - I rang straight back and the number didnt even ring ? Mmm this isnt good, so quite clearly the pre-paid for transfer was not happening. Our hotel pulled all the stops out to get a taxi, and some 50 minutes after our original taxi failed to show - we were lucky to get a local taxi and to the airport.
I advised TS of this via email on my return, provided all the information they required - and lets just say quite a simple investigation and return of funds etc etc took about twelve days to resolve - should have been within 24 hours in my opinion !! We all have the information super highway at our fingertips.
The hilarious outcome of this debacle is that the response from the ground transfer agent and TS was the "Taxi went to the wrong hotel " LAUGHABLE !!
I have Googled the Electra Palace Hotel Rhodes, it is the only one there - so the drivel that the taxi went to the wrong hotel is completely implausible - and to myself and my wife insulting !! My gut feeling is that the taxi return was not booked or a more profitable fare was an option for the transfer agent and they took it !!
Nobody from TS has rung to discuss the matter, I know it was initiated by email - but ringing and discussing with me would be more professional !! I know we got our monies back, but this doesnt placate the stress and anxiety myself and my wife suffered when taxis quite clearly that night were few and far between. This sadly, has soured our relationship with TS, customers must never be mugged off with feeble excuses !!
We will never know the full truth, and the one good thing we have as customers is freedom of choice.

I was so impressed with the support, knowledge and expertise from Tropical sky staff following our recent holiday.
Dan in sales was so patient and helped us decide on a holiday that was just right for us, he responded quickly with supporting our queries, ensuring we had such a great time away. I would also like to mention Jill who was equally as supportive and so helpful. I would definitely recommend this company and team members I have dealt with- thank you!

Unfortunately gave this awful company my money years ago. Lost my deposit, I gave them an explanation as to why I couldn't respond to their emails (phone was stolen) but they ignored me, literally did not respond to my complaints (was dealing with Emma Bolton). Absolutely vile.

Edit: Thanks for the excuse, but it's literally the fact that you IGNORED my email altogether. Not only is that terrible customer service, but also shows a complete lack of empathy. Money talks for Tropical Sky!!!

Tropical Sky (Canadian Sky) was exceedingly helpful in putting together an itinerary to the Canadian National Parks that subsequently turned out to be an excellent experience. The staff at Canadian Sky was helpful and clearly experienced in the product they were advising on. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

We are just back from a tour of Vietnam from North to South including 2 internal flights and the whole trip was seamless from the moment I contacted Brendan Prendergast to the time my feet touched the floor back in Dublin, nothing went wrong with the whole trip. The hotels booked were superb and the tour company LUX Travel DMC in Vietnam are consummate professionals. Thank you to Brendan and the Tropical Sky team for making this trip one of the best we have ever been on. We look forward to booking again next year!
