Paula at Tropical Sky was brilliant. From making our first enquiries to booking & beyond, we found the team very helpful & responsive to our emails. When the time came for us to depart, our documents were received, a complimentary phone call & follow up email, to confirm we had everything needed prior to leaving. Just had the most amazing 14 nights in Sri Lanka, the first 10 was on an organized tour, followed by 4 nights at a beach side hotel, before our return home. Our guide Amitha was wonderful, he was so professional, polite, knowledgeable, funny & had such passion for his country. On our experience, we would recommend using Tropical Sky.

The trip felt poorly organised with missed pick up times upon arrival in Hanoi and our mid trip destination - Hoi An. Instead of local agent contacting us to inform about delays, or as in Hanoi airport providing more precise instruction for meet up point, we had to chase ourselves.
One of the tour guides was hard to understand and didn't seem to have much experience with busy day tours - there was no planned lunch, water, toilet breaks, etc.
The itinerary was packed full of sightseeing, which wouldn't be possible to accomplish in the time allocated. Despite of us cancelling a few things from the programme to begin with, we had to scrap further things at the time. When planning the tour the agents should take into account busy traffic, time needed for lunch breaks and time required to look at each sight, which wasn't communicated and made the experience stressful at times.
We also asked for a hotel upgrade in Hoi An from the town centre to a beach location, but the Tropical Sky didn't inform us it was a rainy season and it poured down for the 4 days we stayed there. Again, I feel that shows lack of expertise or caring.

We have had two wonderful holidays with thanks to the team at Tropical Sky. We changed and fine-tuned our plans, and the team were in constant contact with replies to all our queries. This resulted in holidays to remember and we wouldn’t hesitate to work with Tropical Sky again for our next holiday

First the first moment we contact Tropical Sky they were exemplary and helpful at all times.
The company that Tropical Sky work with in Sri Lanka were amazing, the guide Dinusha could not do enough for us, he was so professional, knowledgeable and his passion for his country shone though.

Glad I found TropicalSky for my holidays. They were extremely helpful in getting us great deal for our holiday. Iternary for the trip was spot on and had no hassle with it. All went well and had amazing holiday.

Absolute disaster of a so-called “travel agency”.

Roisin was friendly and helpful to start off. This quickly changed when payments were “due” - we had no advanced warning about this. Threatening emails were sent informing us that our reservation would be cancelled if we did not pay the balance by 5pm the same day - the email came in at 3pm.

Communication was absolutely shocking - our flights were changed both ways, and we had to pay extra on our outward flight. Again, no notice was given, and the ticketing manager was blamed. Additional payment was required for the change of flights - they’re delusional!

Flight home was cancelled and we had arrived at the airport. Turns out the flight did indeed take off. Full day delay, and absolutely no effort made by TS to sort this with the airline. We have still not been compensated for the additional nights accommodation.

When anything went wrong, Roisin and Tracey seemed to be on lunch - never returned calls to us and Roisin ghosted us completely on emails!

Still no resolution almost a year later. An awful experience considering that this was our Honeymoon.

WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM TROPICAL SKY IF CONSIDERING BOOKING A TRIP!

There were several stages to this holiday and the organisation of these was exceptional. Everything went seamlessly. The attention to detail was exemplary from selecting perfect hotels based on our needs to booking great seats on our flights. Pre holiday communication was excellent ensuring we had all the information and documentation required.

Extremely dissapointed with this so to said taylor made company. Was to be my WEDDING in Sri Lanka. Was not advised at any time of booking that Uga Bay was 6 to 7 hours away from airport after travelling 12 hours on a flight. The agent (Sunny Abazid) at no time reached out to try and suggest or solve the problem. The agent did not even address me by email by my name and comment left was 'Its a private car just for you' as if this was good enough to justify themselves that this was good enough for me to accept and they had initially put themselves out and the problem was solved! An unproffessional agent lacking in customer care, a couldn't care less lazy attitude. Appaling! I would like to take the time to thank Samantha Hohol from Tropical Sky who has gone out of her way to rectify the earlier problem i had. Nothing has been too much trouble, We now have a wedding in May 2025 to very much look forward to. A huge thank you again.

Tropical sky have been brilliant organising a holiday to Vietnam Cambodia and Laos. Really couldn’t fault it. We chose our own hotels, they responded to many queries and emails. All went to plan, the tour was amazing, the guides and transport fabulous. Charlotte and Suzanne thank you so much! Highly recommend

From Antigua to Vietnam and many many places (most recently Cyprus) in between, we have been using Tropical Sky since 2017 and have found them to be an exceptional company with an absolute focus on customer service and trying to meet the customer needs.
Anytime we have had any issues with or on our holidays, they have not been the fault of Tropical Sky, however they have taken the time to fix them and ensure resolution.
Having always looked at comparisons sites or alternative ways of booking, we find ourselves sticking with Tropical Sky for value for money and an all round better experience.

Marie was really helpful in organising our trip when accommodation was tight - very efficient, easy to deal with and found us just the right thing for what we needed. Top service - couldn't fault it.

I was so fortunate to deal with an incredible agent by the name of Katie guy in tropical sky Dublin office . She was so personable and left no stone unturned . I was looking for a holiday over Christmas for myself and my kids following my husbands recent death from pancreatic cancer: Katie put in so much work to meet my requirements , I had quite a few ! She was so good and found me such amazing deals that not only have we booked a holiday to the canaries over Christmas we have also booked a second one to the Maldives for the February , so we got two holidays for the price of one . I can’t thank katie enough . We will be using her to book all our holidays going forward . A superb travel agent to whom no request is too much . Just booked a holiday to Jamaica to celebrate my 60th birthday in February 2025. The travel agent Katie was incredibly helpful - listened to my requirements, provided clear quotes and when I changed my requirements was very happy to research further, providing additional quotes. Extremely pleased that I discovered Tropical Sky and that Katie is my contact - brilliant customer service 🤩

Buyer Beware. When searching for a reputable travel company, avoid Tropical Sky (American Sky) at all costs. I found them to be inept and incapable of doing the basics right.
I was booking a two centre holiday for 11 people,Orlando followed by a Caribbean cruise. The initial price was agreed with Jade. Deposit paid only for Jade to call me back to say, she had made a mistake with the cabins. No problem, mistakes happen and I was happy to pay the extra for the cruise. Sadly, that wasn’t the end of it. Not only did the increase the cabin cost (agreed) but they then increased the flight cost by £200pp for no given reason, meaning our flights increased by £1412. I understood the mistake needed rectifying but didn’t agree with the “greedy money grab” regarding the Virgin seats. At this moment, I still haven’t had my deposit returned.

Don’t use Tropical Sky (American Sky) they really aren’t very good and they don’t stand by their word.

We booked our wedding in Mauritius through Tropical Sky after seeing a recommendation on Facebook. I spoke to a lady named Karen who went through what we wanted, and she suggested the Zilwa Attitude hotel.
Easy process when booking, paying. Nothing is too much trouble for the whole team. Always there to answer any questions. Will definitely use them again.

We had the most amazing destination wedding in Mauritius booked with Tropical Sky! The most attentive travel agent we have ever booked with, nothing was ever too much trouble before the holiday and the coordination with the travel agency reps upon landing in Mauritius was outstanding. We definitely felt like we were in safe hands throughout our holiday, and could even reach out to Tropical Sky for some help regarding legalities after our wedding which is very much appreciated. Couldn’t thank Tropical Sky team enough for the most memorable holiday and a magical wedding day!

This was my first introduction to the company Tropical Sky. Going in, I had no expectation of the customer service that would be presented since I've been unfamiliar with this booking agency. I drafted an email inquiring on their luxury wedding packages that they offered through this booking agency. Within 24-hours, I was greeted by Katie Guy who helped me throughout this entire process. From providing timely responses on inquiries, to being very adaptive to additional requests / preferences. She was very understanding and supportive in finding packages that covered everything we inquired on. Katie personifies the customer relations aspect that any customer would want to be greeted and supported with. As long as Katie Guy is a representative of this company. Any future trips needing to be booked from my family will be going through Tropical Sky. Excellent service. Exemplary professionalism.
