Transparent Communications is a leading UK supplier of IT, AV and networking hardware, providing products from leading brands including Draytek, Drobo, Netgear, Epson, Casio, Samsung, Smart and Acer. After a successful acquistion of the company in Jan 2011 by brothers Steven and Richard Warwick, the company was moved again to the outskirts of Portsmouth on the South Coast and has experienced dramatic growth, culminating in the launch of a brand new web-site and an expansion in its range of products from 4,500 to over 40,000 products. Despite the current difficult economic climate Transparent has continued to enjoy success and growth over the past 12 months making us well placed to continuing offer great value and service to our customers throughout 2012 and beyond. Poor service
I ordered what I thought was an external SSD but it turned out to be an internal drive (my error). I phoned and the person was helpful and said she would contact Crucial to see if there is an adaptor to use the internal drive as an exterior drive - and GET BACK TO ME. I'm still waiting. The date below is approximate.

Good price but no tech support
Good price, rapid delivery. However, important to note that Transparent Communications don't seem to have any in-house technical support. When I had a technical issue I had to go to the manufacturer. It's not a complaint but potential buyers just need to be aware of this.

First time I have used this company and…
First time I have used this company and must say the service has been excellent. Ordered a Graphics card at very competitive price on the Mon afternoon with 1 to 3 days business day delivery It arrived next day tracking info had been emailed to me in morning with expected delivery time given. The product was well wrapped and item as expected I install in my computer with no issues.

Purchased an Adata backup device.
Purchased an Adata backup device for use on my wife's computer. I already had two such devices on my own computer and knew they would do the job required. Delivered as expected a few days later. Plugged in and they worked. All is well, service was good from this company. I'd use them again.
