Whilst I have used this company without problem in the past, most recently I placed a large order which simply never arrived with no communication. I repeatedly e-mailed them with no reply, I rang them but they have an outsourced phone answering service who is unable to help with anything. After more than a month with no response and being several thousand pounds out of pocket I have been forced to initiate a card chargeback to recover my money.
Not responding to emails or phone messages for this long is inexcusably poor customer service.

My item did not arrive.
Worst still I have telephoned 8 times and emailed 3 times and received no response.
They outsource their “customer service” so all they were able to do was forward on my request saying they would mark this as urgent and get back to me.
Each time I received no reply.
I’m now claiming a charge back through my credit card.

Placed 1st order on eBay with Tradepricedeals and received my order in few days. Wanting more of same item I called the telephone number off product box to place another order. I left multiple voicemails over several weeks with zero responses. I placed second order on website for same item as they were showing in stock. Order was never processed. Being frustrated over next week i telephoned multiple times and left 7 or 8 messages with the teams support line and all went without reply. Finally on 12 Feb 2026 order was cancelled after yet another request to be called back. I begin to think they never had this item available. THIS IS SHAMEFUL SERVICE!

After placing an order for 2 workbenches through the B&Q website, the order was lost by the courier (DX Express). The courier repeatedly updated the tracking 'Out for delivery', 'Back in storage'... for days.

I finally contacted TPD directly and their team was AMAZING!! I even received a very heartfelt apology from the owner of TPD.

In a world of online shopping, this company still has old-fashioned values and dealt with my issue professionally, sympathetically and incredibly fast.

From now on, I will go to them directly, not via B&Q.
