The wooden bed slats are held in place…
The wooden bed slats are held in place by plastic holders, but the holders are not securing the slats properly. As soon as any weight is put on the bed, the slats come loose and the mattress sinks down. This has happened several times, even though I only weigh 65 kg.
The trundle bed has metal slats that are screwed securely into place, so they are firm and stable. However, the main bed uses wooden slats held by plastic clips, which do not hold them securely. The slats keep slipping out, and the bed collapses when weight is put on it.

Great customer service
On receiving the product I noticed that the packaging had been re-sealed and the instruction manual was missing. I imediately notified customer service who arranged for the Manuel to be emailed to me. later I found one of the parts to be damaged, again customer services offered to get a new part from the suppliers. I informed them that I could repair the part, they then offered me compensation for my troubles. All in all I would definitely use T G Hughes again as their customer service is very efficient and professional.
