Timber delivered to the wrong address
Timber delivered to the wrong address, not even in the same village. The woman I spoke to at TVE didn’t believe me!!! She had no empathy at all. I had to cancel my carpenter, as we could not get the long timber in any car. They really were very unsympathetic and very unhelpful. Not sure of the exact date, I’ve tried to forget the ghastly experience! 🤬

We're very sorry to hear how upsetting this experience was for you. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to have your timber delivered to the wrong address, and the disruption it caused to your plans.
As a small business, we rely heavily on the courier services we use to deliver our products safely and on time. In this case, the delivery error was made by the courier, and while we did everything we could to resolve it quickly - including chasing them daily for updates - we regret that the process took longer than it should have.
We appreciate how stressful this must have been, especially with your carpenter booked and unable to proceed. We're also sorry if our communication felt unsympathetic at any point - that was certainly not our intention.

Good service, would have been 5 star if information regarding how much wallpaper paste is needed per roll was given on the website.

Samples were ordered & acknowledged…
Samples were ordered & acknowledged 27th May but arrived Thursday 24th July!!
So too late I've ordered elsewhere and they've lost business. Very poor service.

Unfortunately, both we and the manufacturer were out of stock at the time of your request, which led to a much longer wait than expected. Regrettably, we also failed to notify you about the delay, which we fully acknowledge was a mistake on our part.
We understand how disappointing this must have been - especially as it meant you had to source your items elsewhere. We’re reviewing our communication processes to ensure that future customers are kept better informed in similar situations.

Order still hasn’t arrived after 6 weeks
We placed an order for trims on 17th June, it’s now 23rd July and it still hasn’t arrived. We have had multiple excuses and lies. I spoke to the person in the office who literally shouted down the phone at me about my review. She told me that the order was dispatched on Monday, however I then received a call from the company who manufactured who told me the item would be dispatched tonight. I’d rather buy direct from the manufacturers than ever buy from Victorian emporium again

Emma was superbly helpful. The fabric swatch I ordered took a long time to turn up but this was down to their suppliers and she kept me updated with its progress and assured me once the suppliers had it back in stock it would be order.

We're sorry to hear your order didn’t arrive as quickly as you’d hoped, and that one of the tiles was damaged in transit. Had you contacted us with a photo of the broken tile, we would have replaced it free of charge, in line with our policy.

Thanks for your feedback. We completely understand that £50 can feel steep for delivery, especially for smaller items. The cost is set by the courier for long items over 2.2m, which require special handling and transport - this applies to trims up to 6m in length. We don’t add any markup to delivery charges; customers pay exactly what we’re charged.
If you're able to accept shorter lengths under 2m, we’re happy to offer a reduced delivery rate. We always aim to be transparent about these options on our website and during checkout.

Incredibly slow.
Great range of quality products. The first time I ordered a sample weeks later when I queried why it was taking so long, I was then told its was not available. Second sample I am still waiting. Takes for ever. Once I do get sample, will be shopping around.

We have purchased several items over…
We have purchased several items over the past few years and each time the products have arrived on time and in perfect condition. Recently we received a delivery, which was stored prior to use. Eventually we came to use the products and found we were short. We subsequently contacted TVE and said that even though the delivery note said the correct quantity we may not have received all of the items. TVE checked there despatch records and straight away identified that they had indeed not sent all of the goods. This honesty was greatly appreciated as they could quite easily have said that all goods had been despatched and we would have ordered additional items assuming we had misplaced them.

3 inch tall slips
Many, if not most Victorian bricks are 3 inches (75mm) tall. Surprisingly this is one of the few companies selling 3 inch bricks!!
So thus warrents 5 stares. Shame on all the other slip sellers.
