Great experience all round at blackthorpe barn . The sauna was great the cold plunge was exhilarating, in a beautiful setting with wonderful warm hosts . Would highly recommend the reset retreat day and use of the sauna wherever its visiting.

A wonderful Suffolk gem! The Roaming Sauna is a beautifully designed mobile sauna complete with showers, cold tubs and changing facilities. The owners Sophie and Joe are super friendly and accommodating :) and this is the perfect place to come to give yourself some TLC and time to relax in nature. Highly recommend!

We had an Incredible time at Roaming Sauna, ran by lovely caring owners who really make the effort to make you feel welcome.

I can’t recommend these guys enough, it was better than most spa visits I’ve had and added a bit of adventure to the sauna experience. Their setup was spotless and thoughtfully arranged and at a high quality. You can tell they truly care about hygiene, quality, and customer comfort.

Our first time using their service has made our mind up, to travel to use them again this weekend. We can’t wait. Perfect way to relax on the weekend!

I honestly can’t recommend The Roaming Sauna enough. From start to finish, everything was seamless and so well thought out. The sauna itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and creates such a cosy, relaxing atmosphere. You can really tell how much care and passion has gone into the whole setup.

Joe and Sophie, who run it, are incredibly welcoming and friendly. They make you feel comfortable straight away and are always happy to explain how everything works to make sure you get the best experience possible. Their warmth and genuine enthusiasm really make it feel special and personal.

A really special experience. The roaming sauna is beautifully set up and feels incredibly calming, especially in the Suffolk countryside. The heat, the fresh air, and the peaceful surroundings make it feel like a proper reset for both body and mind.

Sophie is a wonderful host, friendly, genuine, and clearly passionate about what she does. She creates such a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere that you instantly feel comfortable.

It honestly feels a bit magical and is something I would absolutely recommend to anyone needing some time to switch off and recharge. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The actual sauna itself is superb. Stunning and so cleverly done.
The showers and cold plunge baths are fabulous
I have attended their sauna at a couple of different settings that were both equally well set up and gorgeous locations.

But I think what makes the whole experience truly wonderful is Sophie and Jo. Two of the nicest people you ever could meet.
They make you feel so welcome and are so helpful and kind and informative.
It is more than just going for a sauna. It is a whole holistic experience.

Happened across this little gem whilst out for a walk. What a treat! The couple who ran it were so welcoming and informative. I leant so much in a five minute conversation and the thorough briefing that followed. With its bright Orange design it sits proud in the beutiful rolling hills of the suffolk countryside. Inside it is beautiful. Doing it on my own was a daunting prospect but within minutes i was chatting to the other patrons with conversation flowing as i found myself in the company of some wonderful and like minded people. There is a timer on the wall with advice on how to manage my experience to get the best for me from Sophie. The showers on the backside are bespoke simple and very cold. However, not as cold as the cold plunge tubs which i was brave enough to try. I was given an orange and water was provided. After my hour was up I felt invigorated and I sat and chatted with Jo and Sophie for some time and it became apparent that this wasnt just a sauna but a community with everyone turning up both existing and new customers welcomed with open arms. 100% recomend

Roaming Sauna is honestly one of the best places I’ve visited for a relaxing and enjoyable sauna experience. Every time I go, I’m impressed by the quality and atmosphere. It’s clear a lot of effort goes into maintaining the space — it’s clean, welcoming, and really well run.

What stands out most is how much it continues to improve. Each visit feels even better than the last, and it’s great to see how far it’s come. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience they provide.

I’ve had consistently great experiences there and would highly recommend Roaming Sauna to anyone thinking of visiting. It just keeps getting better and better

The Roaming Sauna company completely let us down after agreeing last minute to allow them to attend our event last weekend. In return for their attendance, we promoted and advertised their business and informed all of our guests that they would be there. We had also gone on to book them for our flagship event in August.

However, we received only a single WhatsApp message on the day of the event from the owner stating that they had changed their mind and would not be attending, leaving us in the position of having to contact and disappoint our customers ourselves. Despite requests, they did not have the courtesy to call us to discuss the situation.

We consider this to be highly unprofessional conduct, particularly at a time when hospitality businesses rely so heavily on trust and reliability. Based on our experience, we would not recommend them to other event organisers seeking a dependable service.

For clarity, we were not provided with a formal written list of operational or insurance requirements prior to the event day that would have prevented attendance. Had these been clearly communicated in advance, we would have addressed them, as we routinely manage multiple contractors and live-fire operations with full safety procedures in place.

We also did not receive any request to share guest contact details. As organisers we cannot pass personal data due to GDPR, however we did communicate your attendance to all ticket holders and received positive interest as you made awarw of.

On the day we received a single WhatsApp message advising you would not be attending. We requested a phone call via email, WhatsApp and messenger to discuss possible solutions but did not receive one, leaving us to inform guests at very short notice.

We are always willing to resolve matters collaboratively, but unfortunately the lack of direct communication is what caused the situation. We felt it necessary to clarify the circumstances for accuracy.

I've been to the roaming sauna a couple of times now and the experiences are always wonderful. Sophie is so so lovely, and an excellent baker!

The sauna and cold baths are always so clean, I've been in the morning and the evening and they are so well looked after.

Today I was lucky enough to go to a yoga and breath work workshop alongside with sauna and cold dip experience and have felt wonderful ever since.

Can't wait to watch this beautiful company grow 💫

Really enjoyed our MULTIPLE trips to the Roaming Sauna over Christmas when it was in Henny. It is so well kept, the sauna is beautifully built and very comfortable and of course, very hot :) We had one community sauna where we met lovely people, and we had one private sauna with our family. Both were fab. The smell of the wood fire is sooooo nice, the view of the river is gorgeous and the ice baths are ICY!!! We left both times feeling very invigorated!!

Boxing Day in the countryside couldn’t have been spent in a better way. Sophie and Joe were incredibly welcoming from start to finish and made the whole experience feel special.
The roaming sauna itself was spotless, beautifully set up, and so relaxing. Everything was clean, tidy, and thoughtfully done. It was a fantastic way to spend the morning, unwind, and do something a little different.

I have been to a few mobile saunas but absolutely loved the Roaming Sauna. It was easy to book, very friendly, has private changing, in addition to showers, foot baths, dip tanks, sauna hats and fairy lights at night. Clearly alot of attention to detail has gone into this new venture to provide a great customer experience. We liked it so much we booked to go back a week later.

Loved meeting Sophie and Joe and enjoying their amazing sauna made out of a converted horse box! Such a lovely activity for a wintery Saturday night or a fresh Sunday morning (or any other day to be fair). Clean, hot, looks fab with a well thought out design!

Sophie and Joe have taken the horsebox sauna concept and taken it to the next level! Facilities include shower, changing facilities, cold plunge and the most beautiful sauna! A 10/10 experience with the warmest of welcomes, highly recommend!
