Barrister stated in the appeal response that the site was well signposted . UKCS had submitted loads of pictures of signage nowhere near where I had stopped (for 1 minute 9 seconds!). I turned a few yards into a side street with no warning signs at the entrance and was nowhere near and did not pass the signs submitted. The barrister clearly hadn’t bothered to work out exactly where I had stopped. Not impressed! But, have given up and paid the extortion of £100 just to avoid being bullied by UKCPS.

Not independent at all, very biased and always favour parking company, parking company is their members or customers, so they always make decisions favour them, no point, they both are absolutely skunks.

I had to leave a reluctant star as I believe this organisation is a sham. I provided evidence of dining in the neighbouring restaurant and they had no evidence of me parking in their bays, just of me entering and exiting the SHARED enter and exit points. The IAS said I had no evidence - I want to find a way to report them to a watchdog. I will take this to court as I refuse to pay despicable people.

After having my initial appeal rejected by the operator, I decided to contact the IAS to contest my parking fine. I provided comprehensive evidence and a detailed explanation outlining the reasons behind my appeal. Unfortunately, I received a disappointing outcome as they dismissed my appeal, despite their reasons being factually incorrect and contradicted by the evidence presented. It was evident that they favored the ticketing company, making it apparent that appealing with them would be a futile effort.

Never been so disgusted in a company before. Absolutely disgusting people. Fined us £300 for parking in a bay that we had written permission to park in by the owner of that parking space. They also fined the owners carer for parking in this bay who also is his relative. Dont bother ever trying to appeal a charge with IAS. Because they'll will tell you they sympathise with you but also side with them. Corrupt people. So disgusting. Its so hard paying for bills as it is with the living crisis. We can just about afford to live and they still demanded £300. The parking attended laughed at the carer when he explained why he was there. Its so despicable. Ive never been so angry. They didnt care. They didnt want to help us. They didnt even care that we had good reason to park there. I hold myself to higher standard and usually would not let anyone get to me as these 2 companies have been parking and property management and ias. However the behaviour they have displayed shows they don't care for circumstance as long as they get your money. I despise anyone who behaves that way. Its just so wrong! Have the £300. While you take that just think about how much we are now out of pocket and struggling even more than we were before. So thank you parking and property management for taking money from people who are already struggling and thank you ias for assisting in this. Im sure you'll spend it wisely.

This company is shocking and obviously in cahoots with the parking companies! Fined 100 and appealed to ias as there machine was not fit for purpose and I had proof of attempted payment and proof I had money on my account still appeal dismissed! Robbing scamming pigs!

Not an independent process at all, sufficient evidence was provided yet they voted in favour of the parking firm which leads one to believe they are in cahoots with each other. I have used POPLA before which WAS independent. The lead adjudicator is Bryn Holloway. I will make the necessary investigations into this service and have them prosecuted if warranted.

Received 2 private parking fines. Want to appeal both of them. Went to their website to register as they suggest, and despite trying 9 times (across browsers and devices), when I click on 'Continue' after entering all my personal details (yet again), I get a pop-up asking me to agree to their privacy policy (or something similar). When I click on the 'Continue' button on that pop-up window, it takes me back to the screen to enter my personal details, and all the fields are empty! So I had to fill them again and there is no checkbox, etc to agree to their privacy policy. So after entering your details, you click on 'Next', you get that darn pop-up again and you are back in square 1. Like I said, I tried 5 different browsers across 3 devices. Useless.

I guess their strategy is to waste your time and frustrate you enough that you just give up & pay.

Same experience as everyone else really. You go through the motions with them because they are the only option but you know all cases will be dismissed as they are far from independent. I just got the same standard response back from both appeals despite me providing photo evidence that there was no signage visible and pointing out that I was in the car park 70 seconds and didn't leave my vehicle or turn my engine off (this was even evidenced on the PCN photos). No acknowledgement is made of any evidence you provide so I don't think they even bother reading it. Taking it all the way to court is your only chance for a fair appeal unfortunately.

As previous reviewers have said,their so called Independence is so one sided I wish I had read the reviews prior to lodging an appeal that went to so called Adjudication,their idea of independence is that they are linked to the Trade Body IPC who supposedly have a code of conduct the Member parking companies have to belong to in order to access DVLA information on vehicle keepers registered address based on number plate recognition.
They totally ignore the appellants evidence and the facts and images you present to them that the parking operator was in breach of their own Trade Body printed code of conduct.Looks like Court here we come.
In a nutshell,their response is You Parked There ,You Pay.. my Trade Body Cowboy Parking Operators.
A truly corrupt ,false operation set up to steal money from a majority of innocent motorists.

Even 1 star is to much for these bunch of muppets. Appealed a parking ticket as the place that I had a ticket from you were unable to enter the licence number and a group of us all had the same problem. Gave photographic evidence of this and statements from everyone with the same problem. Funnily enough the the fine got help held. This company is apparently an independent but its funny how if you look deep down they are partnered with the scum of the parking ticket lot. All of us had the decision in the ticket company favour.
Also I had a car accident during my time to give my reply back to the parking companies response and the attitude was well what do you want us to do. I suffered concussion in the accident so really wasn't in a fit state to respond.
I also suffer from learning disabilities and asked for help of them and was told that I could get somebody to fill in the forms. With this this gives me no right to privacy and makes them breaching the equality act of 2010.

At the end of the email it clearly states that this is not legally binding you to pay any fines.

Unfortunately I have to leave a star rating to write this revue. One star is far too good for this shower. Going through the correct channels by appealing is a waste of time. It is clear that the "appeals panel" is far from independent and do not take into account any amount of proof submitted. They only send out template responses to any appeal which inevitably is against the complainant.
This lot masquerade under the guise of a respectable body, which they are far from. They need investigating and should be shut down.
The question is: who set them up if they only deal with parking appeals from IPC?

They don't take any notice of what you tell them they are a scam working for the parking company waste of time going to them find some else to help

I would not even give this sham of an organisation 1 star. They are diabolical and in cahoots with parking comes. It's all a farce. Don't bother with this service as they are clearly not supporting the plaintiff but always in favour of the parking companies. Wonder how much they get from Premier Parking as a back hander. Absolutely a disgrace.

The is not independent and fraud. Government should stop there fraud activities immediately. They eye wash everyone and more likely get commission from parking company to help them fine people illegally. Waste of time.

You are wasting your time if you’re appealing a parking ticket with these fraudsters. As the majority of people are saying, they’re working in cohesion with these cowboy parking companies and they’ll simply never rule anything in your favour regardless of how good your proof is to prove your innocence. Not to mention 9/10 your PCN will rise in cost if you appeal to them. So it really isn’t free!

My advice is either cut your losses, pay the original fee and learn from experience. Or hold your nerve by telling the parking company, who issued your PCN, that you’re not going to pay and the only way they’ll get money out of you is to take the matter to a small claims court (which you don’t actually physically go to).

After all, that is the only way they can legally make you pay, only if the court rule in the parking companies favour. The cost of going to court outweighs the parking ticket so will they really take that chance?

To conclusion, the only way you will get a fair appeal is if it went as far as a small claims court. You will never get one from these rogues.

Where do we start - Euro Parking Services have installed ANPR cameras at my residence and think it's acceptable to issue PCNs based on vehicles being parked in an area outside of their boundary line which they do not control. Their appeals process provided evidence to support the above and yet they or the Indipendant Appeals Service are unable to overturn the tickets. Worse still they won't do anything to stop issuing fines and their lawyers are yet to respond.
