RIP Maple Pancake
I bought 3 bars of the maple pancakes with the intention of saving them for as long as possible, as they have been discontinued. Alas, I inhaled all three within a frankly disturbingly short time. Still the greatest chocolate I’ve ever had and I will miss it something terrible! RIP maple pancakes

Chocolate perfection. Every chocolate bar I have tried has been delicious. Chunky bars of velvety smooth chocolate in a variety of interesting and tempting flavours. Highly recommended.

Long delivery times.
Flavours are great, its just the delivery time is far too long.
It says 10 working days, but twice I've had to chase my order and the delivery time has been closer to 3 weeks.

As all of our bars are handmade to order, our standard turnaround is 10–12 working days before dispatch, but occasionally during busier periods this can stretch a little longer — and we’re so sorry for any delay you’ve experienced.

Toffee Mallow Bars
Ordered two of the small batch toffee mallow bars (as I missed the eggs at Easter) and I now know the depths of true despair… because they aren’t permanently for sale on the website!
This was honestly the best chocolate bar ever and I would pay double if it came back again just to have another one. The wrapping is also stunning! I’ll definitely be placing another order soon.

Im not a coffee person ,but the coffee & struppwaffle was amazin ,and the black forest bar was so nice to ,both had amazin taste and textures ,defo buyin again ,waitin on another delivery .

Absolutley superb local business
Absolutley superb local business. Quality of the product, values and ethics and service all second to none. I can’t stop talking about them to everyone I know and I can’t stop ordering! My favourite products so far are : toffee mallow (chefs kiss!) Black Forest gateaux, baklava, geordie bar, golden caramel - yes I’ve tried a lot, multiple times!

Passion and Pride in Their Chocolate
The Chocolate Smiths have passion and pride for the products they produce, and is evident in how the package arrived. New fabulous packaging.
I purchased the Bahama bar - which I really wished I bought more than just one because each mouthful was an utter delight.
My other purchase was the Toffee Mallow, which I've yet to taste.

Amazing chocolate
The chocolate is handmade and dispatch times are not immediate but the chocolate is soooo worth the wait! Toffee and mallow has to be my ultimate favourite flavour but they are all good! Baclava started the obsession and is still in top 3 along with the Gordie. Not tried the Bahama bar yet - it smells amazing though. I try and make it last but they usually go in one sitting!

I would like to give this a 5 star rating because normally the bars are phenomenal. However, i recently purchased a bar where the flavour wasn’t there. I did reach out to see if it was a one off or just me. I was told it would get tested. Little bit gutted really because I was so interested in that bar being what I hoped. I’m giving it a high rating because of the usual standards I get from
Them. But on this occasion that bar I bought which was binned just didn’t live up and I’ve no communication ack since.

I did reach out via social media on instagram and I was told my concerns would be looked into but still
Haven’t. If you see my messages directly on instagram it might help going forward.

Another delicious delivery
These were the first bars that I have had which have been brought the wrapping machine and the difference was amazing. The bars had a far more professional look to them and were much easier to open without destroying the outer layers.
The chocolate was of the usual high standard that I’ve come to expect from the Chocolatesmiths. The Pistachio Canneloni was delicious. It didn’t seem as sweet as when I had tried it previously and had a more pronounced pistachio flavour. The Chocolate Brownie was as good as ever, love the brownie batter like filling. I have yet to start the Black Forest Gateau bar, it’s one of my favourites so I know that it will also be a winner!

I’ve been enjoying this chocolate for several months now and it’s the best I’ve ever had!. The taste, the flavour combinations, the look and even the wrappers and packaging!! I love the exclusivity, the updates and the creativity.

Have to start with the great quality of packaging and knowing that the cocoa is thoughtfully sourced back to Luker's in Colombia. Ordering is exciting yet easy. Customer service is efficient, professional

I am a returning customer more times than I can count, all the way from the US. It is my pleasure to support a small business who is so invested in producing quality and ethically sourced delicious chocolate bars, while being dedicated to new and innovative ideas. Who would have thought so many new ideas and creations are possible in something as “simple” as a chocolate bar. That is one of the many things that is special about The Chocolate Smiths, they take something simple and do it extremely well, at a level of excellence that is hard to find!
