If I could leave zero stars I would. They have stolen my money - paid over £800 for complete set of nursery furniture on 3rd December for delivery by 16th. Nothing came, response to my e-mail was 'sorry for the delay'. Chased up again after Christmas to be told that it was coming direct from the manufacturer w/c 13th January. The cot mattress has arrived but nothing else. Can't get hold of them, e-mail domain name no longer exists. LIARS & THIEVES!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!! can not contact the company, emails now bounce back and the website is down. The company folded in December as shown on companies house website! But they still continued to take peoples money. Absolutely disgraceful!!!!

CRIMINALS! Much like everyone else I ordered a Cybex baby car seat amongst other things to the tune of £400 which was STOLEN from my account on the 29th December. Told the order would arrive weeks ago, emailed to see where it was and after multiple failed contacts my last email bounced back saying the website/email server was no longer live.
I’m 9 months pregnant and am now having to see if I can get this money reimbursed and look for another car seat days before my due date. So disgusted in this company, and absolutely fuming. What kind of people target young families and pregnant women?

So apparently the Baby Room reported my initial review - obviously still active then? If you are reading these reviews, can you have the courtesy to advise what you are doing withour money and provide us an actual contact email address which works?
Just in case this is not clear, I would like my money back, therefore please organise a refund of my money. I have provided my order number.

This site is a scam. I ordered the UppaBaby cot in taylor colour. Firstly it said it will be delivered my 7th January, but they didn’t. When I emailed them they responded after a while and said waiting for the manufacturer to send. However we needed by the 7th as we were traveling. We ended up buy another one from Peter Jones. On 7th of January when they responded I replied asking them to cancel the order and to refund my money. Now we are the 21st January and now answer from them after 3 emails I wrote. Absolutely appalling! I will contact the m police I guess.

What's the genuine consensus on this company? I purchased a pushchair on the 14th Jan and I'm now very worried.

The website's not active, emails bounce back and the phone number doesn't work. I managed to get a mobile number for them through Klarna (who I paid through) yet no one answers.

Klarna is adamant I have nothing to worry about but I don't feel overly confident.

Taken £250 for a stroller from me, emails are bouncing back. No contact number or website. Yet Friday a TOM emailed me back telling me it will be dispatch on Monday.. yet Monday comes round and there is no dispatch email!! Absolutely disgusting that people can do this when it comes to baby/children’s items!! Should be ashamed of yourselfs especially you TOM!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. They are a scam site, they take your money and do not deliver. The customer service email they provide does not work and bounces back, the phone number they provide says they’re closed as they’re relocating, so to email them instead on the email address that doesn’t work.
If you have bought from them, please report to trading standards and contact your bank for a refund as there is no way of contacting the “shop” themselves.

Order 30th Dec, 20th Jan still nothing has arrived. In comparison to others I have spent little - £60, but majorly peeved

after all of my emails ignored from the company and the expected delivery date for receiving my item well past, I had lost all hope that my pushchair was ever going to arrive. Especially when the company stopped replying to emails, I randomly received a text from DPD one day saying my item was with them from delivery and it did arrive.

NO SE OS OCURRA COMPRAR NADAAAAA!!!! Es un estafa en todo regla.
Mi pedido tenia que llegar el 21 de diciembre y no a llegado ni llegara.
Como es posible que aun siga en marcha la pagina timando a mas y mas gente ??

Ordered a travel system back end of December, should have received this on 7th Jan! Two emails explaining delay ‘due to Christmas period’ cannot contact them, website taking down and my first baby is due in a few weeks time! Absolutely furious, out of pocket and unnecessary added stress for myself and my heavily pregnant girlfriend who is really ILL on top of all this. If this is fraud this is lowest thing someone can do. Taking advantage of expecting parents get it sorted!!

what was the blokes name who wrote some B.S earlier saying they’re working hard to get website up and running? They’ll be liquidised Saturday morning when I Make the 4 hour drive up there! I will get my £1000 back and you’ll be paying my fuel too.

I ordered a double buggy a week and a half ago and email told me that I would get my item via Dpd by 17th Jan...no item and email doesn't work!! Do Not Buy from this seller!!!! There is no customer service to speak of at all and I now have to organise getting a refund through my bank somehow but lord knows how long that will take!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Same story as everyone else, ordered 2 items they weren’t delivered when they said they would be so went to go onto their site and it is not there and email is bouncing back. Pls contact your banks and report them and make a claim to get your money back. They are either fraudulent or have gone into liquidation but still taking orders! Avoid at all

SCAM!!!! I ordered a buggy from them worth £735 and still have not received my refund after they weren’t able to provide the products.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had. Going through the bank for now to see if I can get my money back, if not I will be taking legal action against them.

I ordered a buggy for£850 was supposed to arrive 17/12 didn’t arrive they told me 06/01 still didn’t arrive they don’t answer the phones or emails
The good news is you can get the money back from your bank I ordered with a credit card the money was back after 3 days
DONT ASK THEM FOR THE REFUND GO STRAIGHT TO THE BANK YOU WONT SEE A PENNY FROM THEM

Cant get on website /email called bank said they are a registered uk company so not dodgy as such but still took my money even though people are saying they gone into administration banks says they will refund me but have to allow 15days for The baby Room to either refund or deliver not impressed at all

Thieves!!! Don’t make a purchase! These people are thieves. They will take your money and never deliver your product.
After that I tried to chase my money their email address and website www the baby room dot co dot uk was suddenly not found any more. Shame on them! They know what innocent people are going for at sale time the most wanted items for their kids and they take your money then disappear.
Disgusting! Report them just like I did to the police and to your bank ASAP!
