I experienced poor service at this establishment. They advertise same-day service on their website, but the manager was rude to me when I had an issue. Additionally, I had problems with my motherboard and SSD, and they charged me £220 for the repairs, along with a £54 diagnostic fee, which is significantly higher than other places. Furthermore, they told me they would install an Intel SSD but instead provided a cheaper SK Hynix model. They also charged me £7 for thermal paste, which I later found on Amazon for £35.They are now saying whatever they have in store, but they clearly mention the Intel SSD. They will insert it into the PC, which gave £70.

We understand there seems to be a misunderstanding regarding the recent service provided for your laptop, and we want to clarify the timeline and details as accurately as possible.
You brought your laptop to our service centre on Friday, 13th June 2025, at 3:45 PM. Our technicians completed the diagnostics by 6:45 PM on the same evening. At that point, you opted to take your laptop back with you.
On Saturday, 14th June 2025, you returned to our store and decided to proceed with the repair. We then provided you with a quote. Regarding the SSD, we clearly communicated that we would install an SSD from one of the following reputable brands: Hynix, Intel, or Crucial, depending on availability at the time, as it was a weekend. The quoted price for the repair was £270. However, as a gesture of goodwill and understanding of student circumstances, we reduced the cost to £220 for you.
We want to emphasize that the diagnostic process was completed within three hours while you were present in the store. We maintain CCTV footage of our premises, which confirms the timeline and your presence during the diagnostic period, should further clarification be required.
We strive to provide accurate and transparent service to all our customers, and we stand by the quality of our diagnostics and repairs.

I recently had my Lenovo ThinkPad repaired, and overall the experience was very positive. The service team kept me updated at every step, which gave me peace of mind throughout the process. Communication was clear and professional.

Sammy did exactly what it requires for my 2017 Mac book air. I had my MacBook Pro 13 M1 screen break and searched for a place to have it fix. I saw Terbyte’s good reviews and headed to the shop.
