How casual & fun it was

Booked a Sunday afternoon for 6 adults…
Booked a Sunday afternoon for 6 adults and 1 child. Staff very friendly and helpful checking us in. We booked for food too; burgers / fries and food was nice & tasty.
Bowling area was very clean.
Overall very happy & would recommend.

Poor customer service
We arrived 5 minutes early for our pre-booked bowling. It was clear to see that they were short staffed, as the were only 2 staff members that we saw. It took 10 minutes for us to be booked in, due to the amount of people queuing in front of us at reception, and the bar area. There were other customers coming to the bar as the ticket counter machines were out of order (we found out later that this was because the ticket hubs inside were full and needed to be emptied, but the staff had prioritised responding to customers at the bar and reception).
We had a great time bowling, and enjoyed the drinks and snacks.
Myself and 2 children went to the arcade afterwards and won tickets. The 3 ticket counters weren’t working, all showing error codes and there were 2 families in front of us who had let staff know about the problem. It took 15 minutes for someone to cover over (who emptied the bin inside, and this solved the problem). Due to one of my children being bored due to the wait, they had been playing on one of the machines, and the tickets had come to the end of the roll, so again, this showed an error message. We went to the bar twice, asking for some assistance. We waited 20 minutes for someone to come over. The gentleman was apologetic for the wait, and when asked the reasons for staff shortages, he said hours had been cut. I asked to speak to the manager, as we were late for a table we had reserved for lunch. I was told they were in the office doing paperwork, and I said I wanted to express my dissatisfaction. A female to speak with me 5 minutes later. She presented with an uncaring attitude towards our experience, stating that she was only the supervisor, and that if I was unhappy, I should leave a review. She gave me a card with a qr code on it.
I will not be rushing back to go bowling again due to the poor experience I encountered. It is expensive to go bowling and the arcade and I would have expected a higher level of customer care than what I received, especially given that it was school holidays.

It was my daughters birthday and she throughly enjoyed it although it was very busy and they were very short staffed, the 2 ladies at reception were working their backs off and still had a smile and were very helpful and chatting, they deserve a medal for the work they were doing.

Not enough staff
Had a great time, the staff that was there only 2 members were very helpful once we waited in a long queue for them to come out of back room.

Amazing night
Amazing night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Two staff stood out the most was rebekka and Joshua happy to help and given served us with a smile. Well worth the money in the song room and drinks are good price

Good bowling, good value!
Love coming to this bowling as it's good value for money and my son loves the arcades as well.
I'm giving this a 4 star as the day we visited (Mon 25th May) it wasn't very busy, we ordered drinks and food via the code at the lane however it took 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive and by the time our second game started we were still waiting for our food.
When I asked at the bar they said they didn't have an order for food but when double checking the system it was there, they had just forgot about it. Bit of a shame that when the food finally arrived we had nearly finished our second game and then had to continue eating at one of the tables at the bar. Next time I won't be using the code to order online.

Quick and easy setup on arrival, only downside was ordered drinks to lane but didn’t turn up after 20 mins so had to go bar and collect ourselves.

Disappointed
One member of staff was left on her own at 5pm when we came to do check ins, take food out and do drinks. The drinks we ordered took 40mins to come because of this which wasnt her fault. The areas were quite untidy but with a lack of staff I'm not surprised.
We hadn't finished our game when our time ended so the screen just cuts off and play stops without a warning so no idea what the scores were which is disappointing when you take children to play
