The cylinder itself is very well built. The aftercare is equally as great. I had an issue after 20 years and woke up to water coming through the cieling. Fearing that the cylinder itself had cracked i started to look for replacements. However after speaking to Sean a technical adviser to find a direct replacement, he advised to check a couple of things. He helped me locate the point of the leak over the phone sent all relevant documents and part numbers within minutes of the call. Within 2 hours I manged to locate spares and repair. Sean is a true credit to the company and genuinely believes in their product and is definitely clued up.

Sean at technical support has been outstanding. Our plumber wanted to install a new immersion tank, when just a faulty heating element and poor access to drain pipes he tank was the issue. Sean advised of a way to avoid that, saving me literally hundreds of pounds.
He went above and beyond, and I must also say that the Telford Group’s water tank we have had for 20 years is going strong, great product! 5 stars! Thank you.

3 hot water cylinders. All failed and leaked. The last cylinder dripping through the sealing into the electrics in an old age pensioners home. Telford say they are not going to do anything about it. Old age pensioner has no money or hot water. Hope it doesn’t turn into a corporate manslaughter case. Telford excuse. Tank is leaking due to private water.

From start to finish, the customer service has been excellent. Really helpful phonecalls (including answering the phone quickly) and prompt and personal email exchanges. Would be happy to have to deal with customer service again (but hope not to have to).

I've seen the reply from this business about my review of 2 tank failures in less than 12 months that they are refusing to stand by. To be clear I'd rather deal direct with Telford, but that's not what they do.They offer words of sympathy but we're still £1200 out of pocket. If you google tanks suitable for well/ borehole, Telford come out top of search. Yes, the small print of literature supplied with tank says not suitable but who reads small print at install? You got to ask how other tanks have completed 20 years install on same supply, yet 2 Telford's ( in different properties ) have failed in 6 months.

I called Telford Group for advice on a cylinder we had just installed. Sean went above and beyond to answer our questions and we are extremely impressed with the excellent service

I wasn't familiar with how my boiler worked. Sean took time to explain it to me over the phone, followed up with a personal email including links to how-to video guides, and helped me organise a boiler service. He then checked back in with me a couple of days later. Patient, clear, and thoughtful -- 10/10 service!

We had a Telford cylinder installed last year and had a couple of queries around the warranty. The team quickly directed me to Elaine in the specialist warranty team who was fantastic! She was genuinely interested in helping us, supplied us with all of the information we needed, was extremely courteous and very prompt in following up. If only all customer queries were handled this well, there would be no need for TrustPilot :-)

As a side note, we are now 12 months in and have not needed to use the warranty. Our cylinder works perfectly fine. It was installed through the government boiler grant scheme, so we were removed from the buying process, which led us to reach out for information from the manufacturer.

Heating system installed a few years ago by a different company with a poor record of follow up service.
They finally handed over to Telford and we had our first service a couple of months ago. The engineer left clear instructions for getting in touch if we had a problem.
Today we could not work out why the heating kept turning itself off so we rang CMS Ltd. Our call was answered immediately ( no being put on hold) and got transferred to a knowledgeable and patient engineer who helped me resolve the problem in 10 minutes!!

Miles was great sorting out our heat pump problem. These were issues our installers failed to correct after three visits.

I have dealt with this company for over 26 years and still have one of their cylinders installed in my home since February 1998 with no problems. Their products are built to the highest standards. I am now looking to have a replacement made to keep in store ready for when the old one gives up the ghost!
Their Technical advisor Sean Reynolds, with whom I have dealt for over a year, is the most patient & helpful person I have come across for a long time,

Although I have not yet experienced the in-person servicing of the cylinder in the property I am a Tennant for, the help over the phone was reassuring and easy to proceed with. I was sent an email with plenty of information about the cylinder model in my apartment.

Overall, I cannot fault my experience so far.
