New BMW 1 series
Recently picked up my new 1 series. It was a very straight forward and pleasant experience. I was looked after and advised all the way through by a super young sales person called Harvey Chambers who was a pleasure to deal with. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable and excellent at his job.

My journey with Sytner BMW Sheffield…
My journey with Sytner BMW Sheffield started almost 30 years ago. I bought a 90,000 mile BMW from a local garage and put another 40,000 miles on it commuting daily from Sheffield to Blackpool. It developed a suspension issue, but despite the high milage, and not being a Sytner car, Sytner successfully argued my case with BMW. When I replaced that car, Sytner introduced me to leasing. This let me change my car for a new one every 2-3 years and benefit from BMW's innovative driving technologies. 30 years, and many BMW's, later only the cars have changed. The technology is still leading edge, the safety is superb, and Sytner are still as customer focused as they have always been. I have made a couple of dalliances to other (non- BMW) dealers, but struggled to find the levels of honesty, respect, and customer service, which I had come to expect from the Sytner team. The original salesmen have progressed to management roles in Sytner, but they always come over and speak to me whenever I am in the showroom. Even the reception team are welcoming and attentive, and never let you sit down without a coffee. If there was anything I could change, it would have to be the new automated telephone system. Its so impersonal. Bring back the humans, they are your greatest asset Sytner! And don't ever try to replace the sales or service team with online sites or AI.

Great aftercare service
I don’t normally post reviews but wanted to give credit where credit was due. I purchased a BMW I8 from Sytner Sheffield. The sales woman was very friendly however, she hyped the car up way too much in my opinion to the point it was a bit cringe. I was sold the car under the understanding that it was immaculate aesthetically and mechanically. I purchased the car and unfortunately after a BMW dealership assessing the car, there were a few issues which should have been picked up by Sytner. This is where Sytner earned their 5 stars from me. They kept in contact with me and paid for the work that the car needed without hesitation. A few months in (and an air con regass paid for by me) … I am still loving the car. Due to the positive experience I had with after sales, I would purchase another car from them again in the future.

Above and beyond
Another great experience at Sytner Sheffield for a warranty recall and a bit of additional work. Everything was sorted quickly and they arranged a loan car, which made things much easier.
Great service from Martin who was really helpful and went out of his way to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Really appreciate the effort.

Shocked - a main dealer that seems genuine
I'm super impressed with this dealership. A breath of fresh air compared to many others. Excellent comms prior to visit. I even got a call to make sure I was aware of the drive in set up - there are 4 roller doors, you drive up to one with a green welcome sign, drive in, someone greets you straight away, directs you to a table with comfy chair and socket so you can work/relax after someone has checked you in. I was told the car would be ready by the end of the day but the recall, free valet and truly complimentary healthcheck was complete in 2 hours. I was advised about a couple of things which would need to be fixed in time and given a quote but absolutely no pressure. I heard others being given the same kind of info without any pressure at all. So different to my local dealer who tried to pressure me to buy 2 new tyres which they claimed would fail an MOT, yet 2 independent garages couldn't find a fault and the MOT was passed. This dealer is 150 miles from home and I am raving about them to friends and family. If I need to use a main dealer again I will make the journey here.

It's always a pleasure to visit Sytner BMW in Sheffield, I had my car in for an MOT and was served by Scott, who was very pleasant and professional. Whilst I was not able to gain an update during the day on the MOT, this was my fault as my number was recorded down in the system right and neither was my email (sorry again for this Scott!) - they did everything I needed, knowing I am selling the vehicle. Rest assured, I will be back.
