Highest praise possible to Nathan and Will. Both of these gentlemen came highly recommended to me by a friend and they both ensured they lived up to my expectations. Will was incredibly helpful when helping us select our new car and was a pleasure to spend time with on our test drive. Nathan helped us complete all of the nessesary paperwork, talked us through the important protection options and saw to it we could drive our new car on the same day. Both of these men are genuinely a credit to this business.

Do not use the Reserve service, I tried over 2weeks to recover my money with success.

I booked an air-con re-gas following the MOT.
I called reception as I didn’t receive confirmation of the booking date. It didn’t seem to be on the system at the time. Apart from this, I received an email to remind me I had a booking. I dropped the car off the car was worked on straightaway as I had explained I needed it back quickly to go to work. Very happy with the service.

Absolutely appalling experience – I would not recommend Sytner Select Swindon.

I purchased a used car from Sytner Select Swindon on 6 July. The engine management light came on during the TEST DRIVE. I questioned this because I did not want to purchase a car with a fault, but I was reassured it was simply because the vehicle was low on fuel.

Around 30 minutes after driving away having purchased the car, the engine management light came straight back on.

I reported the issue immediately and returned the vehicle. The dealership subsequently carried out around £600 worth of repairs. I raised wanting a refund within days of purchasing the vehicle and later made clear that I wanted to reject the car.

It has now been over SIX WEEKS. Sytner have had possession of the car for weeks, while I have been left without the vehicle I paid for and without my money.

The communication throughout has been awful. I have repeatedly had to chase calls and emails, have felt completely disregarded as a customer, and have had to escalate the situation to The Motor Ombudsman and my local MP just to try to get this resolved.

I also paid for a three-year extended warranty, yet after this experience I have completely lost confidence in the dealership.

Buying a car should not result in weeks of chasing, financial loss and stress while the dealership has both the vehicle and your money.

I genuinely wish I had never purchased a vehicle from Sytner Select Swindon. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend anyone considering buying from here thinks very carefully before doing so.

Easy to book, polite efficient staff

Even though sadly my new car was not meant to be, the service I received from Sytner Swindon was great. I Initially purchased the car from Joe Excell who took me through the whole process in a friendly efficient manner. When I encountered problems with the vehicle Jon Morgan also dealt with us in a friendly efficient manner. I would consider Sytner for a future car purchase even if it didn't work out for me this time.

We were diligently looked after from the moment we walked in the centre. Jakob was informative and friendly and able to answer all our queries before suggesting a number of different options and showing us around. We test drove a lovely Hyundai and decided pretty quickly it was coming home with us! Sebastian (Seb) helped us organised extended warantee and efficiently guided us through the finances. Thanks!

I wouldn't consider buying a car anywhere else. The team are always exceptionally informative and helpful. Jakob who assisted us today was the perfect balance of supportive but not overbearing. Walk in with one car, 2 hours later we our first big car ready to drive our newborn round in. What a delight!

This is the second car I have purchased from Sytner Swindon branch. We were helped when deciding on which car to purchased this time by Jorgen who did a great job with the purchase, part exchange and test driving process. The company have a great range of vehicles and you never feel pressured or any hard sell tactics.Recommend car purchase company.

I had my MOT with sytner group as I bought my car from them a few years ago and bought a lifetime MOT package. The last 2 MOTs I have booked at least 4 months in advance to get a Saturday of my choosing. However also the last 2 years they have called a couple of weeks before and had to cancel it and rebook. No Saturdays left so then had to take what's left over which I didn't want but had no choice so had to change things around to fit. Hope it doesn't happen again next time
