Excellent service provided for Sytner my sales man was Dan Harvey and what a legend. He helped me with absolutely everything I had a question about. Very open with all information including there mark up on the car itself + all the benefits of dealing with professionals.
I would definitely recommend and buy again from Sytner and Dan himself again.
Just like to say a massive thank you to Dan personally as he was first class.

2nd car brought here
Unfortunately had my car written off which I brought from Sytner Northampton. The service I received then from Louis I could not fault at all. I went back after a great service the first time and may have give them a headache with choosing a new car specifically Bradley who was very patient and took his time to even email with cars I may be interested in. The service I received was top notch thanks to Bradley and rob it was a pleasure buying a car from sytner again and I will be returning when I want a new car.
I can’t fault anything they do and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new car.

Sytner only Select who they want to deal with. Avoid.
I’ve been communicating with Sytner Select in Northampton about trying to buy a car from them. I sent 3 simple questions about various aspects of the car, including service history and documentation, only to get a response from an AI assistant. After 3 days of chasing the same AI assistant, I get a reply saying someone will be in touch, and yep, you guessed it, nothing. Today, I see the car has been reserved. Absolutely frustrating and annoying.
How can they operate like this. I told them that I have cash waiting. Nothing. To have no human interaction is simply terrible. The worst service I have ever experienced from a car retailer. If this is how they plan to continue to operate, I would warn people to be prepared for a very frustrating wait. Spend your money elsewhere. I will. Avoid.

A great service from reserving online…
A great service from reserving online to drive away (within 24 hours).
Photos of the car on the web showed lacquer damage on the nose of the car but I still went to view the car. To my pleasant surprise, this was already rectified before viewing. I was surprised and super happy.
There was not rush viewing the car whilst being left alone then a decent test drive time.
The transaction time was fast and efficient with everything thing explained and documentation verified.
Customer care and service provided by Louis (initial contact and wrapping up) and Dragos (test drive). Both were professional, courteous and informative.
The only thing to improve is the valet time after the sale. It took (30 mins) after a follow up.

Mis-sold me a 3 year warranty
Mis-sold me a 3 year warranty, only included a fraction of what they told me it did and said if I never claimed on its then they’d refund 2/3 of the price when the warranty had finished which they didn’t!!!

Extremely poor experience with Sytner…
Extremely poor experience with Sytner Select Northampton.
We purchased a vehicle in January 2026 and within weeks reported issues with the sat nav and Bluetooth/telephone system. Sytner authorised diagnostics and repairs through Audi Amersham/Stratstone, but the car was kept for almost a month and returned with the original faults unresolved. Since then, further warnings have appeared, including brake servo and start/stop faults, leaving us with no confidence in the safety or reliability of the vehicle.
We formally rejected the vehicle and requested a refund. Sytner then asked to collect the car for further diagnostics, which we allowed on the basis that it was for inspection only, not further repair. Since collection, communication has been very poor. Replies are slow, no one seems able to make a decision, and no one answers the phone when we try to get an update.
This has been particularly distressing because the vehicle is for my disabled father, who relies on it and has now been left without transport. We have repeatedly asked for this to be escalated and for the formal complaints process to be confirmed, but the matter still remains unresolved.
Based on our experience, the aftersales service has been unacceptable. Once there is a problem, it feels almost impossible to get anyone to take ownership or provide a clear resolution.

I recently bought a car from Sytner Select Northampton and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Colin Watts, Head of Sales, was fantastic from the very beginning professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely easy to deal with.
Buying a car can sometimes feel stressful, but Colin made the whole process feel relaxed and straightforward. He took the time to answer all my questions properly, kept me updated throughout, and made sure everything was exactly right before I received the car.
The car itself was extremely well presented when it arrived beautifully prepared inside and out and exactly as described. It was clear that a lot of care and attention had gone into getting it ready, which immediately gave me confidence in both the vehicle and the dealership.
What stood out most was that I never felt like “just another customer.” Colin genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with the purchase and comfortable with everything. That personal touch really made a difference.
I’m absolutely delighted with the car and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Colin and Sytner Select Northampton to anyone looking for excellent customer service and a quality vehicle.

Do not use this company
We brought a car middle of March and have had nothing but issues with it. It has been back to them twice to fix, but went wrong again. Asked to return it as clearly not fit for use, refused a few times. They even told me I needed to arrange for it to go to a dealer , they did not book it in, I had to. They had the car to fix for over a week. The second time they had it all day and at the end of the day said they don’t have the right equipment to diagnose an MG, but reckon they had managed it the week before??!!Then the light came on again and lost power so In the end I turned up at the service centre with the car and said I would not leave till they took it back.
On returned we were made aware that they had added extra warranty on the price but not told us and when we had all the issues no one mentioned we had a 12 month warranty. They also added a charge for gardx when we said we did not want it and they clearly didn’t use it on the car as no aftercare pack was in the car, but they charged for it. On return of the car I had to pay nearly £900 to return it due to these extras. I have made a formal complaint, but this is the second car we have had issues from this store. Do not use.
