4 years of Misery with a Taycan
I have had a Taycan for 4 years with nothing but trouble. Too many to list but the highlights
1 both charging ports replaced
2 heating and Ac failed and replaced at least twice
3 car blew up home charger
4 car connectivity issue so could not smart charge
5 car came out of service with a nail in tyre that wasn’t there when it went in

Handed car on for recall
Handed car on for recall. Car ran fine with the exception of a handbrake fault. Got car back with engine management light on and in limp mode.

Glasgow Porsche Service - Beware
Poor service execution on numerous visits, including attempts to charge for work that was not completed, and most recently, an attempt to charge me for damage done to the vehicle during its service appointment. On my most recent appointment, not only was the car damaged but a new fault appeared after collection that is requiring at least 2 re-visits. At the time of this review, the fault came back after the 1st re-visit and "fix" and is still unresolved. Getting a callback and consistent, clear communication from the Service dept is also a regular challenge.

First Class After Sales Experience
Six day after sales visit ending 10/12. Courteous and helpful staff at all levels, kept informed throughout , attention to detail impressive, all issues dealt with and the car immaculately presented on collection.

We were having a few battery issues…
We were having a few battery issues with our recently purchased Taycan CT Turbo (huge thanks to Alexander Main for an providing an excellent sales experience)
Allan Robertson from the Service dept. went above and beyond to help resolve our Taycan’s issues. He guaranteed he’d make sure the car returned perfect, so that we could regain our confidence in it & start enjoying the pleasure of owning and driving it. We fully expected the car to be at the dealership for several weeks. We were blown away to receive a call from Allan less than 48 hours later, telling us that the specialist technicians (massive thanks to all of them) had worked flat-out to get the replacement part fitted in record time.
This level of professionalism and personal service is what sets Porsche Centre Glasgow apart from every other dealership.
Thanks again Allan for your tireless dedication to your customers. Yourself and the Porsche Technicians far exceeded our expectations.

Excellent buying experience
I had excellent service buying my first Porsche from Dhaine Conn at Porsche Glasgow earlier this year. It took a few weeks to find the right used 718 during which time we exchanged regular WhatsApp messages regarding stock, specs and pricing. It was a seamless experience with no sales pressure, just a professional can do attitude. Two months in the car had a minor fault fixed under Porsche’s used warranty. It took one phone call to book the car in and a day to resolve. This prompt work from the Service department was appreciated too.
