Decent bag.

This is a great golf bag that I've purchased, except for the leg spring mechanism. It started off fine but has popped out of its socket at the base multiple times, and the customer service is sub-par. This should be an easy fix, but it's not. Three stars.

Replacement parts

I bought a carry bag from local golf shop many years ago. Recently one of the stand legs broke. When I contacted the company to find replacement parts, a customer rep identified as Bong Told me to take a picture and send it to them. Bong later said they would send replacement legs, which they did. No charge to me. That’s great customer service.

Golf carts are designed to fail

I have 4 trolleys, and every 3-5 years the wheel hubs disintegrate due to garbage plastic that deteriorates in the elements -sun&rain. It wasn't too bad as could purchase a 3 wheel replacement kit, a bit expensive. Just looked have to purchase individual wheels at 3 times the price. Their logic: buy a new cart - from someone else. What are they thinking?

Sun Mountain golf cart

My Sun Mountain golf cart has three spoke plastic wheels. The plastic has cracked and the wheels are all wobbly. Sun mountain will do nothing to help me except sell me new wheels that are very expensive. These wheels are very cheaply made and do not last. And their customer service department is not very good at all as they will only sell you new parts.

sun mountain speed cart

I love my  sun mountain speed cart golf trolley, it's the best trolley i have ever had.  Unfortunately the front wheel developed a problem about a year after I purchased it. 

Sun Mountain recently sent me a replacement wheel at no charge........ fantastic customer service!

Awful customer service and bad product zip

Purchased an H2NO carry bag and overall was pretty happy with it. Had my previous bag for years and it cost a quarter of the price of the Sun Moutain bag, but I thought that I was buying a quality product. The zip on the largest pocket started to come apart, but would zip back up if I lowered and then re-zipped it. Now it has finally stopped working all together. Contacted the seller (affordablegolf.co.uk) who contacted Sun Mountain. They replied with a single sentence stating the bag was out of warranty by two months. I'm now left with a very expensive bag which is no longer waterproof and the largest pocket is completely unusable. Awful customer service and a poor product.

Umbrella loop does not take weight of umbrella

I purchased a Sunmountain top of the range waterproof cart bag. I have been pleased in general with it, however the loop you fasten to hold the umbrella in place just loosens and the umbrella just hangs down away from the bag. I contacted Sunmountain by email to ask for a fix but no reply. Would buy another product from them

Very poor customer service - seems quite disinterested

I called because my strap broke on this very expensive bag. They said it needed to be replaced at my cost, but they do not communicate very well at all. I'm still waiting to hear from them about the strap. The customer service chap seems totally disinterested. I've chased twice and still have not heard anything.
I must say I'm not at all impressed with this company.

The quality of the Zips are not…

The quality of the Zips are not satisfactory after 12 months my Zip broke which now causes the bag to leak and lose contents. I will now need to buy a new bag and will not consider these bags until this fault that is common on all their bags is rectified

Customer service doesn't try to resolve any issue.

Just a quick review, my wife bought me a bag for Christmas. Didn't realize it was final sell not trying to return it for a full refund trying to return it for an upgraded bag the customer service rep Katie kind of said nothing we can do in a nonchalant way and said okay, thank you Goodbye kind of thing, wanted to offer me 25% off my next purchase. But that's not what I'm looking for I'm looking to trade in and get an upgrade..

New strap for SM Litespeed

Just bought a new SM Litespeed, great bag but I didn’t much like the X strap and wanted to replace it with the EZ Fit Lite strap, this has been out of stock for a while so contacted them and was told they had 1 left, sent me a link to purchase it and delivered quickly, happy much better strap. Thanks

Called about an issue with my sun…

Called about an issue with my sun mountain bag, one of the three I have. Never had any issues with the bags until this one. And the representative that took my call was not helpful and or willing to rectify the issue, said he would send a stamp for me to return the bag, told me I would have to go find a box a broken down one I could tape up to send it back. Asked how long it will take, told me three weeks to a month. The strap (shoulder) squeaks like crazy, loaded or not, we park their high price for the bags no question asked if you want it then pay it. Then when this kind of thing happens they don’t much care. Send it back first then they decide what you going to get, fixed or another sent it to you. I’m sure they don’t send you another one. And if you don’t have another bag you could use while you wait a month oh well too bad. Had new pioneer ping bag the strap popped off I called ping they said yes design flaw handled. Sent me to their closet retail and set it up with them. For me to go there get a new replacement bag exactly the one in had and ping issued them a credit and I was handled just like that. Didn’t even have to send the broken bag back. It was new the bag I had they didn’t question it just kept there customer happy. So happy I bought the new pioneer bag the next year’s bag, and it’s perfect. It is my fifth pioneer bag. And it was how my issue was handled by ping that made my decision way easy to buy again with confidence. I will be getting rid of these sun mountain bags. And will never even think about buying another one. As well as everything else I have sun mountain. Rain gear, vests, push cart, etc you’r how I was treated guess they don’t need my support of today they don’t want it from me. So today I will never return to buy any thing from them on line in their retail stores . Hope this don’t happen to all the ones that use their stuff I’ Good luck!!!!

The customer service is horrible

The customer service is horrible. I returned an umbrella for poor craftsmanship and have waited three weeks since they received it for my credit back. Every time I call, I get the same response, "were looking into it"

I have the receipt of them receiving my return signed by their employee. I have bought many items from this company but i will no longer support them.

I have a carry bag I purchased about…

I have a carry bag I purchased about three years ago and the seams have completely come apart on one of the pockets. Other areas are showing the same kind of poor quality workmanship showing failure. I will not buy Sun Mountain again because the quality do not warrant the premium pricing.

Sun Mountain is rubbish

My daughter bought me a Sun Mountain Waterproof cart bag in 2019, I left the bag in the UK as I was living in the USA. I came back from the USA in 2021 and started using the bag in December. In June 2022 the ball pocket zip broke. I asked Sun Mountain to repair the bag at my cost and they refused, rather they offered 25% off a new bag that is over £350. Not sure why anyone would buy another pile Sun Mountain rubbish when the first one had only been used for 6 months and failed. Complete and utter garbage products and service, don’t buy Sun Mountain, overpriced rubbish there are much better products on the market and much cheaper.

Bought a sun mountain carry bag a year ago, worst decision I ever made.

I mostly use a cart bag so the carry bag has only been used around 20 times yet already one of the stand legs has come off, really frustrating as they only give their frail poorly made expensive bags a 1 year warrenty so they side off into the sunset with your cash.

Poor product at a premium price

Bought a sun mountain elite cart bag about 3 years ago. After about a year the rain proofing layer started to blister and crack. This just got worse and worse. I understand that putting it on a trolley could rub it off where the straps are but not in all the other areas where the blistering and cracking has occurred. Not rainproof now. I didn’t use the bag in winter. Tried to give feedback to the company but not possible to email them.
Pretty poor product at a premium price.
