Genuinely the best thing I’ve ever done, changed my life and my whole perspective on how to live life

Easy booking, i booked Magaluf last year and I’m heading out again this summer with takeover. Makes everything simple and the first month included in the hotel happy days.

Last year I booked a package with summer take over the process was nice and simple and the Reps were so helpful. As soon as I booked my accommodation all I had to do was sit back and wait to depart! Can’t wait for Magaluf in August!

This was one of the best experiences I had ever had. In 2022 summer takeover made it nice and simple for me to sign up and I was walked through with a REP step by step all the way up to my arrival which they then helped me find a job as a PR . I couldn’t recommend this company enough

I went to Kavos, Corfu 2022.

I had looked at some of the negative views before going and had a vague idea of what to expect and can confirm most are correct. If you know what you're getting into, it's alright, if not, you may be slightly disappointed.

You pay £600 basically for the accommodation which other renters there are paying £200-300 for (they're also not the best - not too clean & the electricity will trip out often) & the company barely help sort you job trials, they may with one or two people but the people who run it are barely involved.

The main let down out of all this is that visas are not included which isn't stated anywhere on the site, so unless you already know this is can be misleading as on the site it lists many jobs you can do when the reality is you probably can't do any of them unless you get a visa beforehand.

It also may be obvious but all these destinations listed are party islands so if you're not looking to get drunk most nights it may get a bit lonely or maybe not for you!

Be aware the minimum wage in Greece is also under €5/he so that's around what you get, so I'd definitely recommend bringing some spare cash especially if you don't like PR work (those people you avoid on the street when you're on holiday) which is the majority of what jobs are available there!

If you are aware of all of this and still want to go ahead with the company, then you'll be just fine. I highly recommend going with a friend as well!

Overall, it's a great experience but not the best company!

If it's your first time working abroad it can be quite nice to go with a company as a 'safety blanket', however it's not worth it and it's be much cheaper to go alone and sort it all out yourself without a company.

Been with summer takeover for 2 months and still stayed in contact with the reps for the rest of my season. Charlotte and Rachel were absolute stars making sure I was okay in every which way possible. The events were the best times and even the hungover days in were just as amazing! I couldn’t of wished for a better season with any other reps than these guys. Who knows I might be back next year but in a different part of the world, keep your eyes peeled. Sending all my love to my reps💙🤍

Reps were spot on, really helped us all bond as a big group, best summer of my life 👌🏻

This was a great experience ,through summer takeover I was able to make load of new friends from all around the world with the help of leads like Rachel who made us feel at home and made the whole journey unforgettable

I’d highly recommend summer takeover to anyone thinking of working abroad! Rachel and Charlotte the 2 reps were brilliant and so helpful through out the whole time I was in zante! Overall I’m glad I chose summer takeover and the people you meet are amazing and the events are top notch

Couldn't recommend this company more. If its your first season this is the perfect company to meet like-minded people in a similar situation as yourself and have the infrastructure in place to find a job. I went to Zante and my main reps were both Rachel and Charlotte. Both were a massive help and very easy to talk to. Paradise hotel, the accomodation you stay at, was very good. They offer good food and everyone had a good relationship with the staff that work there. Its extremely good place to start pre drinking with the people you met, as well as a comfy place to stay.

Summer takeover is a great company to go with and the accommodation was nice and Rachel was excellent at what she does and always give everyone help to find work and I can out drink everyone on the island I met the mates for life and I 100% recommend summer takeover

Biggest scam ever.
Paid £600 to get accommodation worth £300. If you’re going away just get your own accommodation.
Didn’t get job trails or discount bands as they ‘ran out’.
They moved us between 3 different flats in 3 weeks and cancelled most of our events in the first week.
They also moved most of us out 3 days early without giving any alternative accommodation meaning most had to move their flights and go home early because the apartments ‘overbooked’ the rooms.

I stayed in napa from the 15th may- 29th July
Don’t get me wrong I had the best time but I think going with the company was a waste of money the first room we had was a small hotel room with 5 beds next to each other barely giving us any room to move never mind get ready. The aircon also didn’t work and there was no cooking facilities which turned out to be so expensive! The second room I was given was probably the best one I had as the air-con worked and we had a stove, only bad thing I can say about that room is that we were only given 1 key between 4 of us. The final room was definitely the worst, the shower flooded, the fridge didn’t work, no aircon and the smell/state of the corridor was horrendous. The reps were not helpful at all, apart from Toni she was the only one that seemed to care! When I first arrived in napa I gave the reps €200 €100 for the package, €50 deposit and €50 for bed sheets/bills
The package was not worth it at all in my opinion, €50 for bedsheets and bills 😅 not once did we ever have clean bed sheets the beds were disgusting 🤢 and I don’t think the pillows have ever been washed/changed🥴 we paid for aircon but of course the majority of the time I was there it didn’t work ! The reps ask for you to give them 2 weeks in advance before you leave or decide to carry on, if you don’t you don’t get your deposit back. you also don’t get your deposit back if you brake something which i was happy with, it came to the end of my stay and every time I’d move rooms I’d given 2 weeks notice and even give them 3 weeks notice for when I was leaving napa. The reps told me I wasn’t allowed my deposit back didn’t give me a reason for it, I messaged the head rep Corey and asked him why I wasn’t getting it back, and he read it and didn’t reply. Finding a job is up to you they say on the website they set up job trials and all that bulls**t no it’s down to you! Toni told us what jobs were available at the start but when the new arrivals came they had no help at all.
I had the best experience in napa but Coming with the company wasn’t part of it. Tbf it’s not the company I think it’s down to the reps as I’ve heard in different resorts that’s the reps are fantastic and they help you with everything, take you out places and actually get involved. The only rep I can say did the most was toni!
A Good thing I can say about it, is that I’ve made lots of amazing friends through the company but i will definitely won’t be doing it with the company again (for napa anyway )

Magaluf July 2022:

For those that are unsure, holding themselve back out of fear or anxiety of going on their own - fear not and do this! You will come out of your shell as the weeks go on and you'll have the best time of your life.
From the late night drinking or after night-out balcony sessions - this will become your new home for the duration of your time here and you will not want to leave come your flight dates!

The first week was the hardest; like a lot of people who've done this will also say. Finding your feet and getting out there will always be hard but it pays off. I wanted to go home after the first week because I was nervous but I spoke to people from home and also the friends I made and they reassured me and I just kept at it.

The in-resort and online reps are always willing to help you feel settled in and help you find jobs from the get go. My rep Oli and also Fabio from Ace were a great laugh.

Summary: Get up and go - You'll have the best time of your life! I will be going back for the full month now doing PR work that I've had a real taste of it all.
England is miserable and grey - Magaluf was ecstacy and good times!

From the get go! Our rep toni was hands on made the whole time in ayia napa so much easier! Taking us out on bar crawls looking after us when we were a mess! Can't thank you Enough for an Amazing time, even if we did drive you crazy

£1000 to share basic 2star accommodation! Not a hope in hell about getting a bar job either due to EU regs. Then more money to pay for club tickets - it’s basically an 18-30s club style holiday in disguise! Pls avoid to save yourself a lot of money. Company is run by swindlers.

I’ve been in Zante for 2 weeks now , the hotel is lovely and staff are amazing especially Sandra and Bobbi. Rachael’s made me feel so welcome and has helped me with things such as when I’ve been unwell and has took me to the medical centre to see someone. She’s a fab rep and has done so much to help everyone over here in our first couple of weeks. Would deffo return if she was my rep again.

Best fews weeks by far! Our rep Rachel is amazing whether it's helping you getting a job or personal issues she's always there! Our organised day trips and nights out are crazy fun! So fun that I don't want to leave the place. Making life long friends is so easy because everyone is so nice and easy to get along with.

Scam do not used this company !

There lay out of website is to reel you in and they sign you up with no guarantee of the job you actually want to do

Imagine that ! Paying 700£ for a job you don’t want to do for a month

So immediately after paying there 1£ fee to secure your spot you are in fact enrolling to pay in the coming weeks more money which they don’t inform you at all in till you have paid the 1£

I was told they can’t guarantee me a job in the sector I wanted so I want to cancel

Bearing in mind I had got a reply after 20/30 mins after “ securing my spot “ for them to tell me I would have to pay 50£ to cancel

Absolute scam and I would avoid using this company at all costs.
