Pass First time after only SIX hours of lessons
I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Abde. I passed my test FIRST time after only 6 hours of lessons, which shows how effective his teaching is. He’s genuinely excellent at showing and breaking down driving techniques, making each manoeuvre easy to understand and apply. Every lesson felt purposeful, supportive, and confidence-building.
If you want a patient, skilled instructor who teaches the right techniques properly, Abde is the one to choose. Highly recommend! ⭐️

Abde is the man - believe the hype!!
I took the speedster course, completing 28 hours over 6 days. It was an intense week but Abde is a fantastic instructor that understands how to bring someone from no driving to test-ready in a short space of time, and actually making it enjoyable - we never ran out of conversation!!
His approach is calm, methodical, and patient. He knows how to read the room, and won’t rush you when things get intense. I also found it super useful that he explains why things are done rather than just what to do, it made things stick quicker.
Abde genuinely cared about my progression, and i’d recommend to anyone learning in Manchester.
Will miss our lessons mate!

Saif is an excellent instructor
Saif is an excellent instructor. He made me feel confident and helped me believe I was a competent driver. He was always calm and patient, and he explained things in a way that was easy to understand. I only booked 10 hours with Suja, and when I started my lessons my test was just a month away—yet I still passed on my second attempt. I highly recommend booking with Saif at Suja.

Highly recommend Faruq
Faruq from Suja Driving School really made the difference. As a first time learner, he was very patient, kind, calm and extremely knowledgeable of what I needed both for the test and generally as a first time driver. He even joined me for the test which made the experience easier, and I thankfully passed first time.

Abrar Khan the best teacher
At the beginning, I wasn’t very happy because the school assigned me an instructor who never responded. It was frustrating and made the experience start off on the wrong foot. However, everything changed once they connected me with Abrar Khan. He was incredibly supportive, responsive, and professional. Working with him made a huge difference, and I’m really grateful for his guidance. In the end, thanks to Abrar, my experience turned into a great one. Highly recommended!

Unprofessional Driving Instructor
I’ve chosen Suja driving school for its reviews and because people were complimenting a few driving instructors. Sadly, it’s not my case.
I was sold a 15-hour package for £495: £195 paid to the school as an “admin fee” and £300 to be paid directly to the instructor. I believed Suja had its own instructors but not, all of them are contractors.
When I purchased the package, I was told:
1. Classes would be arranged directly with the instructor.
2. Each session would last 2 hours, with or without breaks, according to my preference.
3. I would be picked up and dropped off at the location I chose.
When I was assigned my instructor (Mohsin Afzaal), the classes were arranged as 6 classes x 2h length and the last 3h were booked the same day of my test. This wasn’t a good experience as the instructor:
1. Was taking unsolicited breaks in every class, even after I repeatedly requested 2 continuous hours without any breaks because I had work afterwards. He insisted on “recommended breaks to improve my performance”, completely ignoring what I was paying for.
2. Was smoking during these breaks even though I have asthma. This directly violates Suja’s own T&C’s (#5 states “Suja has a strict no smoking policy”).
3. Was rolling up his cigarettes inside the car while I was driving. Unacceptable and unprofessional.
4. The 2h sessions never lasted 2h. On the first day, he arrived 10 minutes late, then took a personal call for nearly 40 minutes, and he only extended the lesson for 10 minutes.
5. Arrived late a few times with the excuse of “the GPS took me to another address.”
6. Was complaining that the school “should pay him more” because the DVSA changed my test centre from Cheetham Hill to Sale.
7. Repeatedly asked me to meet him around the test centre instead of picking me up from home.
8. Delivered only 14h of classes, as the final hour (the 15th) was scheduled at the same time as the test. Despite not delivering the full package, he still demanded £50 upfront to rent his car for the test (again, when the 15th hour was not delivered).
I called Suja as soon as the first incident happened (30th October) and they told me that they would speak to the instructor. However, after this conversation with Suja, the issues still continued.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts, although we are genuinely surprised by the way you’ve described your experience, as it doesn’t reflect how we operate or the standards our students know us for.
To clarify a few points: we do not charge an admin fee. You chose our split-payment plan, one of the two payment options we offer, so that part was entirely your own selection. All our instructors work under Suja Driving School, and lessons are arranged directly with them simply to make scheduling easier for students.
Breaks are only suggested when absolutely necessary for safety, and any time taken is always added back onto the lesson. No one “loses” time with us. We also maintain a strict no-smoking policy. This is the first allegation of such behaviour, and given how serious that is, we are already looking into it.
Regarding pick-up arrangements: you provided two different addresses at different stages, so yes, we confirmed each location accordingly and later moved pick-up to the test centre—specifically to save you time and give you more practice on the routes, rather than sitting in traffic. That decision was made for your benefit and with your agreement.
As for your call on 30th of October, we heard nothing after our reply. Since we’re open seven days a week, most students do get back in touch if something still isn’t right, so naturally we assumed everything was settled.

I’m thrilled to share that I passed my driving test today, and all the credit goes to my exceptional instructor Farooq Naqshbandi. Farooq is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and calm. He explained everything so clearly and always made sure I felt confident and safe behind the wheel. His teaching style is supportive, structured, and genuinely focused on helping you improve. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.
I also want to thank Suja Driving School for providing such a professional and well-organised learning experience. The lessons were flexible, well-planned, and truly centred on student success.

My experience with Suja Driving school
When I first read some of the reviews for Suja driving school I was a bit concerned but after my first lesson with Jamal I knew there and then that those reviews were fake. Jamal is the best driving instructor you can hope for, he’s extremely honest with you and knows exactly how to motivate a person. I would STRONGLY recommend him to any & everybody looking for driving lessons. I passed my test today & I can safely say that it’s all because of him. I would rate Jamal a 17/10 easily😂🙌🏻

Cannot recommend Ash enough

Niazi Suja driving school
Niazi has been a wonderful teacher during my preparation for my driving exam. He helped me grow upon my mistakes after every lesson. Early on he was reassuring and calm, while as I got better he gave me the choice of how much help I needed.

I passed my test today and couldn’t have done it without the help of my instructor, Amer. He was always so patient and calm, and had a great way of explaining how and what to do.
