Great experience

Terrible Aftercare Service - would never use them again

I purchased an Audi Q7 from Manchester Audi. Initially, the service was excellent — staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately, once the vehicle developed issues, the experience turned completely.

The car suffered from warped brake discs *seven times within 12 months*. Rather than acknowledging a potential fault, they tried to pin the blame on my *“driving style.”* When I asked for clarification on my consumer rights, they avoided the question and stopped being responsive.

For anyone reading this, *know your rights* when buying from a dealership. Here are key points:
- You have the *right to reject a faulty vehicle* within 30 days of purchase.
- After 30 days and within 6 months, the *dealer must repair or replace* the car if a fault is found.
- If the issue keeps happening, you may be entitled to a *refund or final rejection*.

Despite raising the matter with the Motor Ombudsman, due to delays and inconvenience, I had to *get rid of the car*. An *independent engineer confirmed it was faulty*, and the Motor Ombudsman *ruled in my favour.

After they sell you the car, *Manchester Audi do not care*. If this review helps even one person avoid a similar experience or *assert their rights early*, then it’s worth it.

Excellent and first class service.

I purchased my Audi a few years ago from the Manchester branch and the car dealer I dealt with was excellent.

The service department on the other hand is absolutely dreadful.

My service and MOT are due and I booked it in back in APRIL to make sure I got a courtesy car. I then rang last week to confirm and all was ok.
I have just had a phone call from ‘the manager’ in service to say there is no courtesy car available!
I am absolutely disgusted.
I told him I didn’t book this last week but THREE months ago then confirmed last week but he wasn’t having any of it!

I re-arranged my whole day tomorrow for this and to be let down less than 24hrs is completely unacceptable.

I have obviously taken my business elsewhere and will NEVER use Audi service again.
Their prices are extortionate anyway so I guess they have done me a favour!

I will be taking this matter further.

I was expecting a lot from Audi , however I was just left waiting for over 4 hours.

Had to request updates myself, and felt the lady looking after me, felt pushed to go to an effort in getting me an update on my car.

Service manager was impeccable in his attitude and professionalism and visual inspection was genuinely useful rtaher than trying to scare you in to upselling

Appalling customer service and I received no response to multiple queries submitted through the website despite false promises in their follow-up email that their dedicated advisors will shortly be in touch?! Furthermore, the issue that needed resolving was of the dealership’s making which makes this even more galling!

Consequently, I will definitely not buy my next car from Manchester Audi or any other Stratstone dealership.

The worst customer service I've ever had getting my car serviced. The first time I came it was good, got a walk-around video and full report at the end. On this recent occasion I got nothing other than 'everything's fine' from a representative. I specifically told them about an issue with the rear wiper and was assured this would be fixed but it was never looked at and is still broken. I never received a report or a shred of evidence that my car had actually been serviced. A few weeks later, my oil indicator comes on for being low (which is part of the service) - I've called and emailed 8 times, including the service follow-up email - absolutely no reply. Would not come here for such an extortoniate price and poor customer service again.
