First things first
First things first, what this company provide at such an affordable price is amazing. That aside, their customer service and help to their students is second to none. A great example is the assistance I received from Andrew Stean, my Access to HE coordinator, who helped me get back on track with my studies after being off for a while. They gave me clear and concise information after my inquiry, within a few hours. I am now back to my studies and so happy to have this support system in place with great people.

I am studying a HE course with…
I am studying a HE course with Stonebridge Associated College, early on I swapped my original course for another, realising it would be more relevant to my future career. The course and tutors have both been excellent, I couldn’t have wished for a better experience with either. However, the customer service has been appalling and thoroughly let the college down. I have had to get in touch on two occasions, the first being when I wanted to change course. On both occasions I have attempted to go through online chat first, which is not pleasant or easy, the messages were curt, dismissive and at times rude, when all I wanted was some help. I have been given false information and both times told that I should phone instead. Phoning is another layer of pain, my first call was answered after 48 minutes, then passed from one advisor to another, sometimes having to call a different number who also couldn’t help and never reaching a conclusion, In desperation I eventually wrote to the “appropriate” department, which was also ignored, only when I got in touch online again and mentioned seeking legal advice did someone help me. Today I have contacted again, to confirm that I have paid in full and the tone of the online chat was once again rude and dismissive until I mentioned that I had screenshot the chat, then the grammar, punctuation and tone changed. It is a shame that the people who are responsible for customer service and portraying the company in a positive way choose not to and it is a shame for the tutors who have been kind, encouraging and helpful.

Commitment
My sincere thanks go out to Stonebridge Associated Colleges for the support and guidance they have provided me throughout my Access to Higher Education journey. I must admit it wasn’t the easiest, but with determination, commitment, perseverance and detailed tutor support, you should be able to complete this course in due time (NOTE: I received my certificate last week as they promised). There are only a handful of online learning providers who are as good as they are at supporting student success (trust me on this). I highly recommend this provider to anyone looking for an online learning course. The quality of the content and tutor support is excellent. I'm very happy with the outcome.

Do not use this college
Do not use this college! Work is never marked on time they say 3-5 working days. I was never given feedback within 3 or 4 working days. It was usually 5-7 working days. Tutors are supposed to respond to emails within 3 working days. That never happened wither it was always longer. There was also a time I had marked work which needed a referral and no feedback was offered. I emailed the tutor straight away within 5 minutes of being given the mark with no feedback and then had to wait 5 working days for a response. I had the customer service team involved and even faculty. Nothing came of it, just an apology and that it wont happen again. It then happened again and it was over 8 working days before I received feedback again. No support is offered with situations like this. It constantly puts you back a step because you never know when you will receive feedback.

Happy with the course, its content and marking (sometimes it did take a bit too long to come back) but currently waiting for my certificate - finished at the end of March, chased up a couple of times but told 12+ weeks - still waiting.
