Squeke - Scam (BEWARE)
Squeke essentially a scam. They received £45 payment for cleaning services, never turned up and when contacted by email after 2 back and forth communications ghosted me. NOT TRUSTWORTHY.
Here is the full story. I booked a cleaner for 15:00-18:00 on a Saturday and paid up front £45 as required. I tried to message the cleaner to confirm the appointment, but no answer was given. The cleaner never turned up at my door. I contacted the Squeke Support Team to see what hapenned. They had the audacity to tell me that the cleaner arrived at my apartment. No bell rang, no telephone rang (my phone number is available on the app). Apparently they send me an email when the cleaner was “outside my apartment” at 15:14. And they expect me to check my emails on a Saturday every 5 minutes. My flatmate came in at 15:20 and saw noone at the door. After a couple of emails, I requested a refund as I paid for a service that I never received. After two communications back and forth, I send another email waiting for a reply to my refund request. This email was completely ignored. Long story short, do NOT trust this company. It’s a complete scam. I am not even sure they provide cleaning services at this point.

We refunded you £15 of the £45 as per our policy of the cleaner cannot gain access to your property then the cleaner must be compensated for both their time and cost of travel.
Furthermore we communicated with you via email sending time stamped emails of the cleaner providing pictured of your property and time stamped in app message she sent to you.
Additionally your concierge let her in the building so you have video evidence she arrived.
Finally we emailed you when she was at your property and she waited 30 minutes.
We apologise that you find our policy unacceptable but we must treat the cleaners fairly as Squeke prides itself on paying and protecting the cleaners which many competitors in our space fail to do.
Not impressed at all
Not impressed at all, booked 2 cleaners and neither turned up! One was over half an hour late and didn’t bother to contact me, when I contacted the team they were ‘struggling to park’ but never showed up, the second time they also never showed up and were over an hour late!

Utterly incompetent
They cancelled our booking (which we'd placed a month beforehand) at gone 5pm the day before we were due to have the cleaner come. They were unapologetic and blamed us for not getting a regular enough service for them to justify bothering with it. They advertise allowing one-off and monthly services but they will mess around those customers because they are not valued. I would highly highly recommend not using this absolutely useless company if you need reliability.

Really good service provided by my cleaner so I’ve subscribed for a recurring service.
The app is very easy to navigate and I can customise my clean as and when needed. The best cleaning service app I’ve found.

Quick, efficient service
I had an urgent cleaning request and was able to find a cleaner within minutes on the Squeke app. A really easy and efficient service to use. The cleaning service was excellent too.

Easy and fair
quite easy to use and not too expensive. Cleaners show up on time and seem to get a good cut as well, which keeps them happy, I guess. Would recommend it; better than what I've used before.
