Read all negative reviews properly before taking out a car. Trust me, I wish I did. They are all lovely and welcoming when they want to lure you on one of their contracts. Once you’re in you’ve signed your life away. Hidden costs, poor customer service. Small non fault damages they make you pay maximum excess.

We’re concerned to read your comments and want to address the points you’ve raised.
We do not aim to “lure” customers into contracts - our agreements, including pricing, responsibilities, and end-of-contract terms, are clearly outlined upfront so drivers can make an informed decision before proceeding.
In relation to costs and damage charges, all vehicles are covered by a damage liability waiver, which sets a capped amount rather than leaving drivers exposed to the full repair cost. This applies regardless of fault and is detailed within the agreement. However, we understand that charges can still feel unexpected if they haven’t been fully explained, and we’ll take this on board.
Your feedback on customer service is also noted. We’ve made a number of improvements in this area over the past two years, but experiences like yours show there is still more to do, particularly in consistency and clarity.
If you’re open to it, we’d like to review your specific case in more detail to understand exactly what’s happened.

Why do think its unprompted reviews? Every review here I can bet was prompted by Splend staff. Who has time for reviews if something is good as expected. You only get unprompted reviews only when it's below expectations.
Splend is shit. I curse Splend from the bottom of my heart and the universe is my witness and my judge.
As a matter of truth which will happen in next 3 years, Splend will go out of business and replaced by more humane pco rental company. You will be erased from the Internet and drivers will know Splend as the devil itself. I don't have time for reviews but I have the truth in me and the truth is always justified.
