Great Experience From Start to Finish
I had a great experience with slpend. The process was smooth from start to finish, everything was clearly explained, and the service worked exactly as expected. Communication was professional and timely, which made the whole experience stress-free.
I really appreciate how reliable and efficient slpend is, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. Overall, a solid and trustworthy company.

I wouldn’t trust this company at all to rent a vehicle or rent to buy.
I had a very bad experience and still trying to resolve the issue.
Ideally you don’t fall for the smooth sales talk.
Customer service is non existent.
Terrible company.

I had a long-term rental with Splend…
I had a long-term rental with Splend Ltd starting in May 2024. Throughout the agreement I experienced repeated misinformation, inconsistent advice, and poor customer service, especially around payments and contract terms. This caused ongoing stress despite me always keeping up with payments.
On 26 January 2026, I returned the vehicle in person to Splend’s Cricklewood office. I asked staff twice about the return process and was clearly told I could leave the keys, that no inspection or paperwork was needed, and that my contract would be closed. No joint inspection was carried out and I was not asked to sign anything.
Despite receiving written confirmation on 28 January 2026 that my contract was closed and no further payments were due, the very next day I received multiple emails and phone calls demanding further rental payments. This happened while I was at hospital and was extremely distressing.
Any inspection carried out after I left the vehicle, without my presence and after Splend had full custody, is not fair or transparent. As a BVRLA member, Splend should follow clear inspection and handover procedures, which did not happen in my case.
Overall, my experience shows poor communication, lack of proper return procedures, and contradictory messaging. I would strongly advise customers to insist on a joint inspection, written confirmation, and documentation before leaving a vehicle with Splend.
