Efficient, friendly service
I first called to request specials in the Kruger Park area and was advised by the agent to look at the website, which I did with limited success. I called back again and got through to Melissa who took my details and got back to me quickly with acceptable quotes.

An absolute 5 star experience!
We had a wonderful time at Ivory Tree Lodge and found the facilities, activities, food and staff as perfect as one could wish for. The service and attention we received was of exceptional high standard. One thing that also stood out was the fact that all the staff appeared to be so happy to work at the Lodge and seemed to be one big happy family.
Truly a very special experience for us!

Difficult website for the old and infirm, but once mastered everything came up roses
I had had problems booking in the past, to the extent the MD asked me not to use the website again but to be in touch with him directly! I still did not have enough confidence yo make two separate bookings on one visit to the site so I separated mjy efforts by a day or two. That all went sxmoothly. I coulds not figure out why the one gave options of payment through an extraordinary document for the card (it had to be signed and sent back) and EFT whilst the next allowed one to fill in a form for the credit card. It all worked perfectly - my bank's sending a notification was not enough, we had to wait until the money was in the bank - talk about trust in the modern world, I bet they have been taken before. Five stars do not mean perfect, no-one is that and it is nonsense. I have found them excellent and recommend them to you when making a booking. At our age just be patient and read the instructions.

In terms of payments with bank transfers, we have had cases where deposit slips were falsified and funds never appeared, unfortunately these situations do happen.
However, we value our repeat clients and you are welcome to call me anytime in order for us to assist you over the phone. This way you would not have to follow the steps on the internet to get to your hotel confirmation.
If you are ever in Cape Town, please come and visit us. I would love to invite you for a cup tea with me.

Reservations were easy -- and saved me money!
I made reservations for our stay at the Zambezi Sun hotel in Livingstone, Zambia through South African Hotels. We were planning a safari vacation to South Africa and then Victoria Falls. The reservation process through South African Hotels was easy and secure -- and they saved us money compared to making our reservations directly with the hotel online. We just got back from our trip and it was fantastic! I have since recommended using South African Hotels to my friends who are considering a similar trip, and we will absolutely use them again on our next visit to Africa.

Unbelievable website, rates & Quick!
Wow I can`t believe how fantastic this website was and I wish I had known about it sooner! I found the perfect place, Mabula Game Lodge, to take my husband Charl for our 1 year anniversary!
Unlike other sites that say there is availability only for you to be disappointed by an email hours later - this site really works. I was worried about the long weekend but it was no problem.
It gave me a good rate and the emails were prompt and clear. I really can`t believe I didn`t find South African Lodges sooner and can`t wait to try there South African Hotels site when my wallet recovers :)

Good and reliable service
Reservation service was prompt and professional. Room at hotel was as per booking. I had an initial problem with credit card details, called the supervisor and problem was sorted out rapidly. I am using the booking service again.

The service i received was unbelievable, absolutely brilliant
I had to fond accommodation in CT rather urgently ( i left it too late, thinking that accommodation would be easy and cheap to find, due to out of season. ) On contacting my Holiday Club Point system, I was finding it very difficult any accommodation at all. I tried "Where to Stay", but was also unsuccessful. I was given a website "South African Tourism Company, "africa@golfing-safaris.com" and within 3 minutes, found something that suited me and my pocket. The people are absolutely amazing and i was astonished to such friendly and excellent service in this day and age. I would recommend anyone to phone and book visa this system. I rate them 120%, if that is possible.
