I have lost nearly 2 stone with this group and have also made friends, so it feel like a social event too. The Consultant Sylv is very friendly and welcoming, offering continued support by checking in midweek to see if you need any help. The members are also very supportive, sharing recipes and meal plans on the Facebook group.
If you’re looking for a friendly, supportive group with a brilliant Consultant, this is the group for you.

Slimming world plan really is life changing. There’s so much advice and ideas on the app which is my go to at every meal. Using the planner is a great way to keep track of your intake and so easy to use.

Congresbury 9am Slimming world Group
I attend the 9am Congresbury group in North Somerset. Sylvia Rubery is our consultant. Loosing weight is not easy but with support of Sylv i lost 3.5 stone & am now a target member. Sylv is always welcoming, happy, empathetic & communicates with all well. She knows the SW plan, shares new ideas from training she has been on & runs to time. Our group conversations enable us to learn & support each other. With Sylv supporting our emotional & physical (teas, coffee) wellbeing. She is always there for any of us, not just in group but throughout the week. She goes above & beyond for us and so a huge thank you to her too.
So, if you want to make a change to achieve a goal you have, then come to our group, i can highly recomend it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Truly Supportive and Positive Slimming World Experience
I’ve had the opportunity to visit many Slimming World groups across the country due to my work, and I can honestly say they’ve all been welcoming, friendly, and supportive environments.
However, my home group at St Mark’s Church, Worle, Weston Super Mare is especially amazing. It’s run by Sylv, who is not only a lovely and truly inspiring consultant but also incredibly supportive. Over the years I’ve been a member, she has played a huge part in my journey, offering encouragement and guidance whenever I’ve needed it.
Thanks to Sylv and the fantastic group members—who are all friendly and supportive too—I’ve managed to lose over 4 stone. What makes Slimming World so unique is its ethos: you never feel like you’re on a “diet.” Being able to enjoy unlimited free foods makes the whole process feel natural and sustainable.
The group sessions themselves are always positive, uplifting, and well-paced. They don’t drag on, and there’s a real focus on celebrating achievements and progress. One thing I particularly appreciate is that there’s no pressure or negativity if you’ve had a difficult week. While extra support is always available if you want to talk things through, the focus remains on encouragement and moving forward.
Overall, I couldn’t recommend Slimming World—and especially Sylvia's group—highly enough. It’s been life-changing for me.

I started in April 2024 in Puckeridge I just want with a friend that was already a member just to see at first.
But wen I had a seat and Sophie started chatting it was so natural and genuine I stayed and have never looked back our group is just one of the Nicest happiest and so helpful everybody listens nobody judges we are all there for the same reason. It is one of the most diverse groups of people I’ve ever met and it’s just wonderful and Sophie makes it so easy to just take a seat in group and explain if you’ve had a bad week and rejoice if you’ve had a good one it’s just amazing

Healthy but fun.…
I have found it easy to stay on track and yet do it at my own pace. Recognising life’s events get in the way but who wants to live without getting the balance right. Finding your own sense of balance with food is key to continuing without yo-yoing with your weight. Healthy but fun, for a food buff like me!

I’m Belinda, I joined SlimmingWorld last August at Old Dagenham Methodist Church. Our consultant Karen is supportive, encouraging, always on hand to help. It’s a mixed group of really lovely people. We all support and help each other. No judgement just understanding. I think the eating plan is one of the best.

Great plan - very easy to follow
I joined the Easter Compton group in April and have already lost 15lb. I’ve never followed the S/W plan before and was surprised at how easy it is to fit into everyday life. Loads of nice food and recipes, so I don’t feel like I’m missing out. I always stay for the group after weigh in. Everyone is so friendly and the leader is really welcoming. It’s got a really nice community feel and everyone gets involved with the chat and they all bring great ideas to try. I’m really enjoying it. Would highly recommend the plan

Tracey is absolutely awesome as a slimming world consultant, she goes through everything with great detail , adds you to her group chats where you can gain some recipe advice and chat to her other group members , its a very warming group where you absolutely feel you can do this , I was so worried about putting weight on when I was on holiday, but there is no judgement.
Tracey encourages you to change those habits and absolutely says this is your journey and you get out of it what you put in . She is so right and I feel very comfortable in her group and so far my loss has been incredible . As Tracey says slimming world is your own personal journey and it very much is but without her love and support it would be easy to give up .
Slimming world is about changing the way you cook and adding in as much good healthy foods as possible and this is promoted extremely well by her xx

Slimming World 100% works!
Slimming World is an incredible plan-it absolutely works! Wendy, the brilliant, encouraging and thorough Consultant at the Slimming World Roffey group (at St. Andrews Methodist Church on Saturdays at either 8am or 9:30am) is very welcoming and warm. There are plenty of warm groups to choose from, and my experience with Slimming World has always been amazing. My Consultant, Wendy was very thorough when reading my food diary and giving me feedback on it. If you're thinking of joining a group, then don't hesitate! I would wholeheartedly recommend Slimming World to everyone who needs to lose some weight. It's an extremely healthy and balanced way to lose the weight AND keep it off for life!

I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to follow a healthy eating plan in order to reduce weight effectively.Attending weekly classes certainly supports your weight loss journey as members share ideas and offer support where needed without judgement. Our consultant, Tracey Driver, from South Ossett Baptist Group delivers a brilliant service and makes the experience feel achievable with her support both in classes and her communication by WhatsApp. My new eating habits have had a real impact on my health and I strongly recommend this for anyone wanting to improve their wellbeing.

We all think our groups are the best but ours really is. Our consultant Denise at Shenley hall is one of the best consultants we have had. The plan is really easy to follow and if you follow it correctly the weight losses are phenomenal. I would highly recommend slimming world.
