Avoid Sixt in Turkey. When I rented the car they gave a phone number to return the car at Antalya Airport. I called more than 10 times without any answer. I was obliged to park the car in the airport. They charged me more than 500 euros. Every 2 weeks, they withdraw 27 euros. If you want to save your money do not use Sixt in Turkey.

The car was not provided. I was waiting for 3 hours with my family at Antalya airport at 38 degree hit.

would like to make a formal complaint regarding the complete lack of service received after hiring a van from your Stretford branch. I’m not sure this comment box will allow me to give a detailed report but in brief, I found the company to be extremely unprofessional, very poor with communication and demonstrating no customer service. I hired a box van on 28.02.2021, the process turned out to be difficult and complicated and I was not made aware that I needed to refuel the van before dropping it back off. I assumed I paid for the fuel I’d used and would be charged accordingly at regular pump price. Once I received the excessive charges, I emailed to query the invoice and was told about the premium charge applied for failing to refill the van after use! Also, when I dropped the van off, the branch was closed, despite signage stating they were open until 6pm. There was no other information informing customers of what they should do upon returning the van to an unmanned office. I phoned customer service to ask what I should do. There was nobody there to hand the van over to so it could be checked or for further questions to be asked. After receiving the email explaining the fuel charge, I went into the branch after several failed calls. I spoke with Elise who is the manager and she agreed to pay back the difference in the fuel charge because I hadn’t been informed when taking out the van. This refund was supposed to have been done on that day which was approx a week after the hire date. Elise wrote down the details and said I’d be refunded £119.54 and that it would take 7-10 days to go through. Needless to say, it never did! I tried phoning the branch several times to query this but again, nobody answered and I was directed back to email. Approx 3 weeks later, I returned to speak to the manager but she wasn’t there, instead I spoke to Brian who told me she’d be in the next day. I couldn’t get back the next day so approx another week later, I returned again and again I spoke to Brian. After explaining all the problems I’d had with Brian, he agreed that the lack of service I’d had was unacceptable and a valid reason to complain! Amidst all this, I’d emailed the manager directly and queried why I hadn’t received the refund... in response, she sent a copy of the invoice with no cover heading or explanation to say she’d sent the refund again. It’s difficult to express a complaint via email, without actually speaking to a human being!! The overall lack of service has disgusted me and I would like to receive some form of compensation for my time and fuel from driving back and forth to speak to a member of staff!! The only recommendation I’d give to people would be AVOID Sixt. I would like this matter dealt with formally via head office please, I’ve been fobbed off enough.

Venho externar minha decepção com a empresa da forma que estão me tratando e os procedimentos adotados. Fiz duas reservas seguidas com a SIXT, mesmo lendo relatos de avaliação negativa da empresa na internet, mas resolvi acreditar no serviço da empresa, que arrempendimento. Na primeira locação, que foi do dia 22/01/2020 a 27/01/2020, veículo Renault Traffic, retirado no aeroporto de Lisboa, percebi o primeiro erro. Os funcionários da empresa imprimiram um documento contendo os danos já preexistente do veículo, a questão é que o veículo estava na garagem interna(baixa luminosidade), com dois veículos estacionando ao seu lado, num ambiente totalmente desfavorável para o cliente avaliar os supostos danos, e sem acompanhamento de funcionário, deixa transparecer que é proposital tal ação da empresa na busca de fazer cobranças futuras, como meu caso agora. No momento da entrega, no aeroporto de Porto, o funcionário identificou o dano na proteção plástica na roda, um dano banal e extremamente difícil de ser percebido, aí segue meu questionamento, por que isso não foi feito no momento da entrega do veículo? Não causei esse dano, tenho carteira de condução há 24 anos e dirijo veículos com dimensões bem maiores que essa carrinha. Fui na loja física no interior do aeroporto e falei com uma funcionária da SIXT, por sinal muito educada, que percebeu minha insatisfação e, olhando o dano fotografado por mim, informou que tentaria desonerar esse pequeno dano e que o objetivo da empresa SIXT era a satisfação do cliente. Agora percebo a preocupação com o cliente, que decepção. Seguindo e acreditando nessa funcionário, que a SIXT não faria essa cobrança irrazoável, desonesta e injusta, no dia 30/01/2020, acreditando ainda na empresa, fiz outra reserva com um veículo de mesmo modelo, no período de 30/01/2020 a 11/02/2020. Informo a empresa que várias cobranças estão sendo feitas no meu cartão, mesmo eu tendo pago as postagem e o seguro de roda e vidro em dinheiro no balcão da empresa no ato da entrega da carrinha. Tenho ciência que algumas postagens são atualizadas posteriormente, mas estão vindo muitas. O pior é que, além dos 76,00 euros da suposta peça danificada, descontaram do meu cartão o valor de 35,00 euros de avaliação de danos, coisa que o preposto fez em menos de 05 minutos até parecendo que já sabia da existência do pequeno e quase que imperceptível defeito da calota.

Sixt Turkey deliberately dont note down existing damage to car at collection. Then claim the customer caused the damage and claim from the customer.
This happened to me recently.
They charged me over £150 for cigarette burn and other damages which I did not cause. And I dont smoke.
They are slightly cheaper but dont be tempted it will cost you double.
The car was in a terrible condition with heavy stains inside and scratches/scrapes outside.
If you have to rent from these SCAMMERS photo and video everywhere inside/outside. Which I did not do trusting the sixt brand name to my detriment.
Avoid SIXT in Turkey
Delivered the car in darkness in Ankara with cigarette burns on driver's seat and upon delivery charged me 170 $ for this damage which was impossible for me to burn as I was sitting on that seat during all my rental. I was the only person during all rental in the car
No wonder that the company has gone bankrupt and now run by the trustee.

Thanks to Mr Müşteri Hizmetleri and his employees, I just had to pay more than 1200€ for a car rental that should normally cost 200€.
To avoid you the same nightmare, first I will advise you to « not rent with the Ankara SIXT office ! ».
And secondly to pay more if you have to - but « not rent with the SIXT company ! »
To explain you rapidly my first comment on a customer review page, here is the situation :
In June, we have rented a car a the Ankara Sixt Airport office for one week. On the last day of the rent, I hit a sidewalk while i park. Nothing really serious but I had to report it (normal - you break, you pay ... normaly the insurance in this case).
So just after, the incident, I call the Anakra Office to know what should do in this situation. They tell me, to just comme back to the drop in office and explain the situation.
When I done it the next day, the employe told me with signs (because he didn’t speak English) that the insurance will take care of it.
But few days later, with out to be notified, I had 2 withdraws on my bank account for a total of more 1200€. Without anyone telling me what it is about !
When I finally reach the Airport office, they told me that it was for the payement of the repair.
I was shock because : first, it could have been nice to let me know it before to execute the withdraw (because I don’t have this money on my account so I now have to pay interest), the secondly to explain for what it is ?- and thirdly as i have an insurance it could be intelligent to see it first !!
But they simply answered me that they have to charge the full amount of the accident repair because I don’t have made a police report of the accident. Mr Müşteri Hizmetleri (that must certainly be a robot because he show no compassion and like to respond you like you are also a machine too) didn’t want to understand that it was not an accident with some one else but a damage made by myself on a sidewalk.
And when I called the office to know if I have to do something after the damage and I asked it again to the airport office - no one told me about the police report needed.
But of course, it is my fault, if I don’t immediately believe that I should go the see the Turkish police to explain that I hit a side walk during my parking move !
This long message to explain that I had a small damage on my car and I wanted to do all I can to do the thing right in order to repair it. But it was a real nightmare and at the end, I just have the felling that they play me - Using really bad business conduct !
And one more thing ! - don’t try to get some help from your local sit office (French office with Pauline Grasser for example) because they will not help you at all.
They love to said that Sixt is a international company but when you need international hep, it's complicated !!
