I had an excellent experience with Simply Trip for my Bangalore to Coorg family trip. Praveen assisted me throughout the booking process and was always helpful, responsive, and professional.

Our driver was polite, calm, highly cooperative, and drove very safely. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, ensuring that my entire family enjoyed the journey. The driver stayed with us for all four days in Coorg and made sure we reached every destination on time. He also dropped us safely at Bangalore Airport without any hassle.

Being from Kota, Rajasthan, I had no idea how traveller bookings work in Karnataka and didn't know anyone there. Initially, I was a little hesitant, but Simply Trip handled everything perfectly. From booking to the end of the trip, the entire process was smooth, transparent, and well-organized.

Worst Service & A Complete Nightmare with Simply Trip

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after what my family went through, I feel obligated to warn others before they make the same mistake.

What was supposed to be a happy family vacation and my son’s 1st birthday celebration in Goa turned into one of the most stressful travel experiences we have ever had.

The problems started the moment the vehicle arrived. It was in a very poor condition with torn seats, broken AC vents, stains all over the interiors, no floor mats, and even mosquitoes inside the vehicle. This was completely unacceptable, especially when traveling with a 1-year-old child and elderly parents.

However, the biggest issue was the journey itself. Despite repeatedly requesting the driver to take the correct route, our concerns were ignored. The Pune-to-Goa journey took nearly 15 hours despite there being no major traffic issues, resulting in an entire day of our resort stay being wasted. The return journey was equally exhausting. We left Goa at 11:30 AM and reached Pune only around 1:30 AM. Watching a small child and senior citizens endure such an unnecessarily long journey was extremely frustrating.

To make matters worse, we were repeatedly asked to pay additional charges during the trip, including tolls that were supposedly already covered, night charges, Goa entry charges, police checking charges, and other unexplained expenses. As customers, we should not be expected to bear costs arising from vehicle-related issues or poor trip planning.

What disappointed me the most was Simply Trip’s complete lack of support throughout this ordeal.

During the journey itself, we continuously contacted the support team seeking assistance regarding the route, delays, and additional charges. Despite multiple calls and assurances, no meaningful help was provided. We were left to deal with the situation on our own.

Even after the trip, the support team continued giving us false hope. We received repeated promises of refunds, compensation, and Simply Trip credits. We were told that the matter was under review and that someone would get back to us shortly. Based on these assurances, we spent days following up, explaining the same issues repeatedly to different representatives, sharing details again and again, and waiting for updates.

Unfortunately, nothing ever came of those promises.

Over time, the responses became less frequent, and eventually, they stopped responding altogether. It felt like they were simply trying to delay the matter until we gave up. Not only was our family vacation ruined, but we also wasted countless hours after the trip chasing a resolution that never happened.

The most painful part is that this trip was planned as a special family celebration for our son’s first birthday. Instead of creating beautiful memories with our child and parents, we spent the trip dealing with delays, arguments, unexpected charges, and constant stress.

My biggest mistake was trusting the sales executive’s promises instead of paying attention to the numerous negative reviews already available online.

If you are traveling with children, elderly family members, or for any special occasion, I strongly advise you to think twice before booking with Simply Trip. A travel company should provide comfort, reliability, and support when things go wrong. In our experience, Simply Trip failed on all three.
