Update: 10/08/22 after receiving a phone call from Shop and Scan on Friday 5th August apologising for the agents behaviour, I was told that an investigation was happening, and I would be updated on Monday 8th August. Today is Wednesday. No update so far. I have phoned to chase up and was told that there is a note on my complaint saying to not respond to any email I may send.

BELOW IS A COPY OF A COMPLAINT I HAVE HAD TO MAKE

Dear Sir/ Madam
I previously contacted yourselves to advise that the above panel member, my father, had passed away on the 27th June 2022.
I gave all my details for you to deal with me.
I received a letter addressed to me at my late father’s address (where my Mum, his widow, still resides).
The letter requested that we return his clicker and panel book in the Jiffy bag enclosed with your letter.
This was done immediately it was received, posted back to yourselves.
We had been advised via email (addressed to my Dad even though we had advised of his passing), that there were £40 of rewards to claim, but we had to allow time for the clicker to be returned. You advised that the account itself would all be closed down on the 5th September 2022.
I have given a period of 2 weeks to allow the clicker to be received back with yourselves, and phoned today to collect the £40 of rewards.
I would very much appreciate that the recorded phone calls be listened back to. I have had 2 calls with xxxx xxxx (name removed to protect privacy). Bearing in mind that he was dealing with the family member of a deceased, his approach, conduct and conversation was rude, disgraceful and disrespectful, to the point where I would like to request that you suspend him pending a full investigation.
I came off the phone twice, after he cut me off both times, crying and shaking at the unbelievable distress he had caused me. The only positive I can take from my experience with him, is I thank god that my widowed Mum did not deal with this matter herself.
I could tell you the detail of the conversations myself but I would appreciate that you listen to them to hear his extremely unprofessional approach and complete lack of empathy at times of sensitive need.
I have had 6 calls to shop and scan this morning:
1) initial call with xxxx xxxx (rewards team)
2) Conversation with a member of the shop and scan helpdesk to instigate a complaint
3) 2nd call with xxxx xxxx
4) Follow up with the lady in 2) above requesting a more urgent call back re my complaint
5) A call with xxxxxxx (arranged by the lady in 2) and 4))
6) A call with xxxxx (sorry if I have misspelt) who advises me that xxxxxxx (again apologies if I have misspelt) will call me back asap to discuss my serious complaint.
I would also like to say that xxxxx has advised that the £40 of Curry’s vouchers which xxxx xxxx said he would order, had not actually been ordered at the point I spoke with her.
I will re-iterate at this moment in time, I would like to request that you suspend xxxx xxxx pending a full investigation.
I hope that you will deal with my complaint as a matter of urgency.

A very pleasant and easy survey to complete with a decent payment for the effort. I would really recommend this one!

I have been a ShopandScan contributor for over 15, maybe even 20, years and have earned hundreds of pounds worth for shopping vouchers for very little additional time and effort compared to just putting away my shopping. The technology usually works and support is provided and is generally helpful when required.

However, there is one thing that annoys me more and more as time goes on. I have almost completely stopped using (expensive, complex and power hungry) Windows in favour of Linux and Android, so ShopandScan's failure to support anything other than Windows for the app that transmits the barcodes is increasingly frustrating. How hard could it be to port the application to give contributors a choice?

ive been a member of s n s [shop n scan] for quite a few years now i enjoy scanning my shopping you get into a routine after a bit and i love the questionnaires which also come with a fair amount of points i build mine up to exchange for different vouchers for christmas i would recommend joining s n s to anyone well done to all thank you .

Been a member for about 18 years and love it, it takes no time at all to scan your shopping and rewards are a great bonus I usually save mine up for Christmas shopping 😀

I have been a member of this for 20 years plus. You get into a routine of scanning and uploading receipts and get rewarded very well. I would recommend this to anyone.

I have been using Shop and Scan for about a year and now it has become a simple routine exercise to complete when I shop. I like how quick and easy it is to scan items so it doesn't become a chore. It's a rewarding experience so give it a try.

Have been a member of shop and scan for about 15 years. I scan all my shopping, do the odd survey, you can also send receipts to earn extra points but I do not have a scanner so am not able to do this. In return I receive rewards, I usually get vouchers to treat my self or my daughter, easy to use and the surveys are interesting

Have lost count of how many years we have been doing Shop and Scan but it is over 40 as our number is 58182 when we started the scanners where massive and you had to input all the barcodes from your shopping and at that time you had a rewards book and save up your points for items listed in the book, now it is so easy the scanner is so small and all you do is scan your name, shop, amount spent, and scan all your items, keep your bills to scan in at the end of the week, for your extra points, connect your scanner by USB plug to download your information, takes less than 5 Mins, we have saved thousands of pounds over the years by doing shop and scan, by saving up the reward points and getting the vouchers for the different shops including Amazon and all it takes is a small amount of time scanning your shopping when you get home, saving your bills, and downloading at the end of the week, so simple a child could do it, so if you have children get them involved with it the reward is something they may want, which will save you money and teach them they get what they want by earning it so what are you waiting for Join today

Been with Shop and Scan for quite a while now. Second nature to scan everything every time. Then download on a Sunday. Points soon add up and are easy to redeem. Have treated my family to many meals out.

Been with shop and scan for may yrs, easy to do nowadays, only have to scan items then scan receipts and send off by end of week, the REWARDS nowadays are good,it’s gift vouchers now with major retailers

Shop and scan is so easy to use. Quickly scan the barcodes on your shopping, transmit them to Shop and scan and all done. For extra points you can also submit your till receipts. Its so quick and easy to do and very generous rewards. If you get an invite do join up.

This is a very informative company. Very polite and very helpful if you have any problems . I like the information you receive .

Scanning barcodes quickly becomes a habit and the points build up really quickly. I save mine up to help pay towards Christmas and I'm always surprised how many I've earnt.
