great shopping experience

great company, very impressed! Shoebacca had the best design selection and price on the shoe style I was interested in. It was easy to order, shipping was fast and secure, perfect packaging. Will absolutely order again and recommend to friends and family members, thank you!

Received Wrong Shoes -- But won't be charged a restocking fee!!

I ordered a pair of slides but received a totally different pair of shoes. I called to let them know of the error. The rep was extremely nice and apologized for the mistake. I was sent a return label and instructed to take them to a ups location to send them back. I was assured I would not have to pay the restocking fee. Damn nice of them. The shoes I ordered are now out of stock and discontinued. Now I have to find a ups location and run them there and wait for my reimbursement. Order shoes online to save time but end up with another errand on my to do list -- my first and last experience with Shoebacca.

The shoes were fine but I accidentally…

The shoes were fine but I accidentally ordered a pair of shoes and immediately got on the phone to try and cancel the order and emailed customer service and they sent the shoes anyway and for some reason I had to wait for them to come by ups just to turn around and send them right back. Maybe they aren’t able to stop the order from going out I just thought it was kinda odd they wouldn’t just cancel it and refund my money since I called right after the order went through

The most convoluted website

The most convoluted website and customer service you could ask for. Their site had issues with my password (come back later) - my return (unable...come back later) - three days of frustration. Also note that 'free shipping' for returns is only applicable with purchases over $50, otherwise there's a 'restocking fee'. I simply found their shoe too snug and was requesting a size up in exchange - doubt it'll happen. I also doubt I'll return, period. Amazon's better, no questions asked.

Keep canceling orders

I have attempted 3 times to order from Shoebacca. Every time I placed an order, the status showed “processing” for over a week. I would go ahead and contact them, and they would tell me that there was a “processing error” and then just cancel and refund my order. For the last order, I actually called instead of sending an email, and they told me that the order was not shipped yet because some item(s) had to be retrieved from a sister warehouse. They told me they would speed up the shipping process for me. But instead, they just cancelled the order again (without even informing me, I saw in the status that the order was all of the sudden “closed” and I had to approach them again). Very poor performance. Clearly the items are in stock as per their website..

Same refund runaround other reviewers have experienced

I ordered sneakers Jan 13, received them but didn't like them, so returned them. I tracked online and they received them on Jan 27. They sent me an email on Jan 30 where they confirmed receipt and said it takes up to 5 business days to process depending on your financial institution. So on the 7th business (Feb 7), after not seeing my refund deposited, I called. They said there were problems with their accounting dept. processing refunds and that the system was down but should be up soon and that my claim has been elevated and will be processed. 2 days later, today Feb 9, I called back to check the status and gave the rep my order #. She asked what did I return as if there was no record of the items I returned from the order but reassured me that my return had not been processed because the system was down. But will process soon. At this point I'm done. So instead of continuing to get the runaround, I called Bank of America claims dept and submitted a dispute. I'll let them deal with the Shoebacca headache. Shoebacca has great deals and prices but if you have to return an item, you'll get the runaround or not get your refund at all.
