They won't let you view a property unless you 'go in and give us your details' - they point blank refused to allow me to see a property because I wouldn't go in to give my personal information away because of so called 'due diligence' for the seller. I haven't even seen the property yet!!!! How diligent is refusing a viewing for a seller!? Time wasters.

Attempted to buy a property from Sharman Quinney which was an extremely negative experience. Staff were rude, unhelpful and even insulting. I was repeatedly told that they didn’t have time for me and that I didn’t understand the process of buying a house. I was also called patronising, talked over and persistently fobbed off. Do not use this estate agent.

DO NOT USE SHARMAN QUINNY IN STAMFORD!!!! our landlord was unfortunately selling the property we had been in 10 years so it was a really tough time for us and we needed a property ASAP!! so we found a property not far from where we currently where and instantly fell in love with it, unfortunately the property was being let by Sharman Quinney, little did we know how terrible our experience was going to be.
For starters the agent turned up late to the viewing and didn’t even introduce herself so we didn’t know her name until my dad had to ask her what her name was.
My dad asked what the next steps were and instantly wanted to put a holding deposit down as he loved the property and we were running out of time to get a place, the agent said she had to contact the landlord and would get back to us straight away. 2 weeks later, after multiple chasing of the agent and hearing nothing and just being told the agent wasn’t available every time we rang, we finally got the go ahead from the agent.
We were just happy to have the property we wanted, even though the agent was rude and belittling.
so we got in the property and as a few weeks went by a few things started popping up, like having no hot water, no heating, problems with the pump in the shower, which my dad had to fix himself with his own money as Sharman Quinney were not responding, we moved in the the house in September it is now November and only just had somebody come out to look at the boiler. We have now been told there has been a gas leek since we moved in which we didn’t know about, we have no evidence of any gas safety ( no paper copy of any documents in paper form when we collected keys) so we are now back to no hot water or heating as we have had to turn the boiler off as it’s seriously dangerous.
We have had no help, nobody within the Lettings team in that Stamford branch care about the service they are providing to there customers, it’s disgusting and unprofessional.

We were buying a house through Sharman Quinney Orton office, but the seller pulled out quite a way down the line (after survey done). Sharman Quinney have never had the decency to advise us of this themselves and have not responded to messages left. They have pretended to be out of the office when we have called! Previous to that viewings were made and if I had not have called the office before to check viewing still on, we would have turned up at the property and no one would have been there. Stunned at this type of customer service and amazed they are still in business. Another shocking fact is that we are desperately house hunting, but they are not interested that they have possibly lost a buyer.

Very casual and unprofessional behaviour!!!. Lost my daughters keys and asked her to let them into her property, Sharman Quinney arrived late and the viewer was nowhere to be seen. The estate agent then rang the would be viewer, who wanted to reschedule, but this was too late!!!, time had been taken off work and these estate agents are unreliable and come up with every excuse for their lax behaviour!!!. DO NOT use them!!!. My daughter has been on their books six months and this was the first viewing in that time, which they still couldn't get right!!!!!.

Liars, time wasters, not trustworthy people, avoid them.

Made an appointment to view the commercial property. Appointment was booked, then re-scheduled in advance and agreed by the office. When arrived to view the commercial property. Nobody was there, then rang back in office to find out while waiting outside, j advised he will call back to let us know whether somebody arriving or not , waited more than 20 mins still no response, then rang again to find out what’s going then he lied again I was about to call you. If he would tried to call he should have earlier instead of waiting that long. What a shameless people who lie with confidence. Wasted our nearly 2 hours on busy day.
That was first and last time.
Avoid them, otherwise you will regret.

Awful service as a letting agent, worst agent we have worked with. Very incompetent and unprofessional and they do not seem to care. We have to chase them constantly and we get a terrible service from them
I would not recommend to anyone

Terrible letting agency, would never recommend them. Staff are not helpful at all and don't seem to care. Spent 1 year as a tenant with them and it was more than enough. Never replied back to emails or call me back. Don't pursue to sort issues out. We was chasing constantly, we ended up waiting around for viewings that never happened. Was even asked on one occasion to show a tenant round as they had double booked then didn't show anyway! Even if its the home of your dreams I would avoid at all costs.
