Great hassle free service
Great, hassle free car selling experience from start to finish. Got an instant initial quote and arranged an appointment at a local branch. The car buyer, Steve Durrant was really friendly and gave an honest and straight-forward assessment of the car. We agreed a price and Steve took care of all the paperwork including informing the DVLA so that I get my tax refund. The money was transferred into my account early the next morning (the sale was agreed late the previous day).

£1000 reduction after initial offer on…
£1000 reduction after initial offer on line with all the details given . Just had a service but trying to make out needed a new clutch , but it was actually fine after getting a mechanic to check it after I declined to sell to them . Car 10 years old and would not be perfect so online valuations are false as they expect perfect paint work with no chips/ scuffs etc . Which I might add I couldn't see !!! Being a women too selling I felt they were trying to rip me off with a poor offer , Do not Recommend .

Our initial online valuation is based on the information provided to us and is subject to the vehicle being physically inspected. In this case, the inspection identified concerns regarding the clutch, limited service history, and paintwork to the rear bumper. These are all factors that can affect the vehicle’s market value and the cost of preparing it for resale.
The reduction in valuation was therefore based on the condition and documentation of the vehicle following our inspection, rather than an attempt to undervalue it - It’s in our best interest to buy every vehicle possible. We appreciate that this can be frustrating when the online valuation differs from the final offer, but the purpose of the physical inspection is to establish the vehicle’s actual condition rather than simply relying on the information provided online.
We also want to clarify that our valuation was based solely on the vehicle and its condition. We categorically do not base offers on the gender of the person selling the vehicle, and we’re disappointed that you felt this was the case.
We respect your decision not to proceed with the sale and wish you all the best with selling the vehicle elsewhere.

The price was slightly under the online valuation but not a million miles off,
Customer service was second to none and took you through the process quickly and efficiently
Overall very happy with the service and would definitely use again
When asked to go up a bit on the price there was no arguments or debates they just accepted.

What a fab experience dealing with ‘Sell your car 2 Jack”. My husband and I had the pleasure of dealing with Mark, Dan and Steve - all were so helpful and informative (nothing too much trouble). Had a meeting with Steve to appraise the car this afternoon and it really was a “simple and slick” process, test drive done, thorough check of car and offer made. Although my car was old
Update. No offer to rectify
Although my car was old, the website said they would give me a fair amount at sale. I underfortuantely missed by appoint due to roadworks. I had my next appointment cancelled due to staff illness. At the actual appointment, despite speaking to several colleagues, none of their pre investigation was completed and I was only offered £100 scrap value. I was offered much more a for for this elsewhere, and I feel this could have been avoided, had any of the advisors I spoke to before hand, completed their necessary checks before hand.

We appreciate that £100 may have been less than you were expecting however the value we offered was based on the condition of the vehicle and the costs involved in bringing the vehicle up to a suitable standard for resale. In this case, those costs outweighed the potential value of the vehicle which is why the offer reflected a scrap value.
We’re also unclear about the reference to the “pre investigation” and would be happy to clarify this. While we understand you had spoken with staff before your appointment, a final valuation cannot be confirmed without the vehicle being physically inspected.
We would also like to clarify that there was absolutely no obligation for you to sell your vehicle to us. You were free to consider offers from other buyers and we completely understand that you would want to choose the option that offered you the best value.
We’re sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations, but we hope this provides some context around the valuation and the options available to you.
