The process was simple, rhe communication was good, the agent was friendly and explained the process at each step.
The price offered online was reduced but well explained as to why with no reductions for minor scratches.
A good experience made simple by the agent Hafsa.

Sadly lost my younger sister and had to sell her car. Although the car was in terrible condition inside and out due to transporting 3 huge dogs in it regularly, Graeme was fair and understanding, always supportive and empathetic toward our situation. To be honest, I was debating wether to go with Sell Your Car To Jack as I had not heard of them before, but I am so glad I did. Graeme was always professional and really made the sale go as smoothly as it could. I would 1000% recomend using these guys

The valuation for my car was £3600.
The valuation for my car was £3600.
They don't have any where on the form where you can show any faults with your car.
They make you welcome with tea or coffee then the haggling begins.
The first offer was for wait for it £1900!! Why make an offer so ridiculous? After alot of haggling the guy disappeared to his manager in the back room for whatever.
In the end I sold for £2450.
Tip get valuations from others Vertu,
Evans Halshaw, Arnold Clarke. Helps with the haggling.
Payment was the same day into bank account.

A good experience selling car
Both Dave and Harry made us feel welcome and wanted and went about their duties very professionally but in an easy manner.
Whilst the valuation was lower than we would have liked the reasons for the reduction were clearly explained and we were not put under any pressure to accept.
We did accept and the payment was made promptly.

The agent reduced the valuation by £2,352
The agent reduced the valuation by £2,352 because there was a missing service in the vehicle's history.
I completely accept that service history is an important factor when valuing a car. However, this should form part of the initial online valuation process. Had I been asked about the service history upfront, I could have avoided making a completely wasted journey.
The issue wasn't the valuation itself – it was being given an indicative price that didn't properly take into account information that should have been requested before I attended the appointment.

The online valuation is an guide price and is subject to a full appraisal and document check at the appointment. The valuation is based on certain assumptions, which are outlined on our website, including the assumption that the vehicle has a full service and ownership history.
We appreciate that the final valuation may therefore differ from the initial online guide price following an in-person assessment.
