Great telephone advice
I phoned for some advice on paint for an a specific requirement. The product knowledge was great, and super helpful with it. I then had to make a further call for advice of the best way to apply the product, nothing seemed too much trouble. Delivery was quick too.

The customer care was excellent. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I got the information I needed quickly. My item was at my home within the week. Couldn't fault them and will be recommending them at every opportunity.

Great 5* I have ordered many items from this company. Always turn up on time, great products at good prices. Would like a faster delivery time but that's just me being used to 24 hours deliveries & working to deadlines!?!

Good company, bad initial delivery experience.
Courier used was DX. It took them 6 days to deliver from Devon to Cornwall. Item was scheduled to be delivered next day, got text most days telling me the package would be delivered that day, with no delivery or notification that it would not be. I wasted a huge amount of time waiting for this package, could not use the product in the time I wanted to and paid over £10 fee for this appalling delivery service.
UPDATE- I have upgraded this review from 1 to 4 stars due to the excellent response from the company in dealing with this issue and taking it up with DX. I am confident future orders will be better fulfilled.

So sorry the courier had issues delaying your delivery, they collect around 500 parcels a day from us and normally the delivery process is faultless. However, this was clearly not case on your parcel so i will investigate ASAP and find out what went wrong on this occasion.
Can i have your order details please so i can follow this up with the local depot?
If you send me your order reference i will gladly apply the appropriate credit for the delay and ensure an alternative company is used in future to prevent further issues.

Lovely bitumen paint
Lovely bitumen paint - Hubby LOVES it - its on everything whether I wanted it or not - dribbles here, there & everywhere, and some paint on hsi man-shed - I am sure it will be lovely, especially when he leaves me some to repaint the chicken shed, but I shall do that in the summer when the chickens can be outside as the paint is a wee bit smelly ...........Hubby delighted with it

Great range of colours you don't see at DOY stores
Quick delivery and decent price. The best part is the choice of colours that you simply cannot get at the usual high street stores. I needed a very specific colour to match a maroon painted step and the range available enabled me to get a decent match; The homeowner was very pleased. Will definitely use this place again for such neds in future.

Great price and delivery. Shame about the comms.
These days we expect to be informed at every stage of a purchase including , importantly, when the delivery is due. Getting an obscure message from some random courier shortly before delivery is not good enough. Otherwise all good.

Fantastic customer service
I had to leave a review for this absolutely top quality business. I had another supplier cancel an order at the very last minute and in a desperate search to procure the same product I placed an order with sealants and tools. I optimistically left a note in the box provided on the order page to specify that it was extremely urgent. Up to that point, I do not think I have ever encountered a business I have ordered from that has actually read and actioned the information in those additional note sections - so I didn't have much hope. However, within 10 minutes I had a call from Matt, who had read my note on the urgency, and with only a handful of minutes to spare, somehow got the package out on the van that day - my order was very near to close of business. The order arrived exactly on time the next day and saved me delaying the job at what would have been a cost of several hundred pounds.
