We had problems with delivery arrangements which became rather muddled and difficult to sort out, however Zoe from Sealants and Tools Direct was just fantastic! She got on the phone to the delivery company and sorted everything out for us. Am so impressed and grateful to her. A real asset to Sealants and Tools Direct Ltd. Very slow delivery service
Very slow delivery service. Ordered on a Monday with the assurance I would have the product by Thursday with a 2 day service to my area. Product did not arrive until the following Tuesday which was too late. This company seem to use the cheapest possible courier/delivery service. Won't order again.

Sorry for the slight delay in your delivery. normally 3/4 working days to outside Mainland UK but i can see yours got stuck in backlogs at the NI depot. Unfortunately there is more paperwork these days to complete so this can happen. I can assure you DX are not cheap to NI and on this occasion, it was just in the Q to be processed. It happens sometimes I’m afraid.
I can only apologise on behalf of DX and i wish you all the best for the future.

Excellent customer service.
Ordered some liquid rubber roof paint, reinforcing mesh, tubes of sealant, brush and roller kit. The items were competitively priced, and were promptly delivered. There was some leakage of paint in one of the boxes which had occurred in transit. The spoiled items were quickly replaced, and were delivered next day. Very impressed.

EVERCRYL supplied at a competitive price
Positive experience!
The company supplied me with two heavy 20KG tins of Evercryl fibre reinforced roof repair compound for £256. I was kept up to date about delivery, by a nice young man called Marcin. He delivered the tins right to my door without a dent.
A great product supplied in a timely manner at a most competitive price. Oh, and the product is fantastic too!

Incompetent & poorly run business
They take payment for items that they know are not in stock.
You don't find out about this until you log into the website days later and see a notice in your order history. You don't get an email informing you of this.
You then have to chase them for cancellation & refund.
Certainly one to avoid!

Hi Michael, sorry you didn’t see the delay message we sent on the 18/07. Other customers have received them on the same day so not sure what happened there to be honest. Soon as we found out the 450 Brown was delayed sent this message.
i can only apologise on this occasion.
Once you contacted us, the refund was completed 1 hour later.

Placed an order for an 18v silver line drill Inc 2 batteries,an update on product I already own.
Heavily reduced price, paid with PayPal,option on payment.
10 days ago, no drill , chased by email, very curt reply saying email sent saying cancelled.
No email received, resent message saying contract existed ,confirmed ,and paid.
Received message,no stock, and refund issued.
Not good enough!
However just been on site,still listed,still happy to accept orders, pulled out on payment confirmation

Ordered 3 containers of sealant but the courier has lost the items, company said they delivered to a neighbour but definitely didn't,very poor customer service following up on my complaint, would rather listen to the courier than the customer,items apparently left 3 doors away somewhere but no photo evidence of the goods,also the driver never left me a calling card either,neighbours haven't had any knowledge either,now having to go through small claims court to resolve and put of pocket and had to cancel my job, BEWARE WHEN ORDERING.

Driver arrived at property at 11.33am,, no answer so driver delivered to neighbour. Number 149 ( 3 doors down)

Photo sent via email from our sales team to your email and advised all of the above.
You kindly replied many times on email advising, Mr Par**s lived at 149 (know him well as you told us he has just been in hospital)
You advised us he was house bound so always at home, not sure why you aren’t able to collect from Mr Pa**ons as he clearly opened the door to the driver.
Driver confirmed twice its at 149 and the pics confirm this. Blue door, path, gravel either side. GPS pin etc etc.
Our sales team were involved in 18 emails with yourself over the past week so they certainly were not taking this situation lightly.
In your last email, you replied advising you were “Going to Social Media”, which we advised was quite unnecessary but completely your choice.
Finally, Friday we asked if you could try his house again over the BH weekend and if no joy then we will start the claim process once we re-open on Tuesday, we advised this could result in full refund to yourself.
in which we haven’t had a reply to our last email dated 24/05 1:30pm so we were assuming you had resolved the issue by speaking to your friend at 149.
If you like us to proceed with the claim process, then please reply to our last email.
If not, then you are free to take whatever action you see necessary.
We look forward to your reply, either on Social Media or by the more efficient manner or communication that is email/telephone.

Trouble-free on-line order process and goods delivered by DX 2 days later ie well within the promised 3 days. DX provided a 2-hour delivery window and arrived in the middle of it.

Potential purchase of product
Having been told items ordered had 3day delivery , ( had a contractor planned start date) I could not get delivery details. Late the morning they were due to be delivered , I was told items had been damaged so were not even en route. Order immediately cancelled and refund was given .

We are sorry for the 1-star rating, and we would like to express our sincere apologies for any shortcomings you may have experienced.
Regarding the issue in question, we can only apologise for the delivery delay.
Your location is normally 4-5 working days for delivery and we expedited this for you on as a special request on an estimated 3 day delivery. Unfortunately, during the journey your pallet was damaged and was rejected by the Glasgow depot and returned to us. Soon as we were advised this, we called you to explain. Unfortunately, it was out of our hands so we tried to redispatch for the Tuesday for you (4th Working day), but this was declined by yourself.
With this in mind, order was cancelled & refund was processed on the same day for you.
I hope this clears up our position on the matter.

Not fit for purpose
I ordered bamboo garden screening and was wary from the start as the parcel was lighter by far than the shorter screening I had ordered from another supplier. The product was nothing like the picture online, poorly made with huge gaps and damaged slats. I was invited to return it and the company charged me £8 to return a defective item not fit for purpose. Not to be trusted. I wish I could submit photos here.
In response to your reply below, I should not have been charged for the return:
CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, products must be fit for purpose, as described and of a satisfactory quality.
If the item you bought doesn’t meet these standards and you return it, you shouldn’t be charged a return fee.

Thank you for your feedback. However, i do find your comments very strange as it was me who was helping you with your return.
We had many conversations over the phone advising you that you ordered 2 x completely different products from 2 x completely different companies. With this in mind, I’m not surprised the products had a different finish when next to each other.
I’m not too sure where the "Can’t be trusted" comment has come from as i did my upmost to help you throughout the return process.
I can only assume you have got us confused with another situation.
