Ive ordered a sofa which is now overdue. No updates from anyone or unable to speak to anyone, the shop staff are useless and dont know anything. I will give them another week before i go to Trading Standards with my problem

New chair was delivered today very comfy and solid build, the delivery team were professional, efficient and kept me up to date on delivery time. Overall a great experience from both the sales and builder of the chair and the delivery team

Sofas ordered July for delivery in October. As instructed I did not arrange for my old settees to go until delivery date confirmed. Due tomorrow, confirmation again received at 09.46, followed by another at 10.15 cancelling delivery. Called Oldham store and given number to call.....took me back to Oldham store. Next told won't be delivered until after 29th. So old sofa gone and at least 2 week until new one comes. Say I'll cancel and told "you have no comeback it's in the small prin, we can be up to 4 weeks after expected delivery date" It wasn't an expected delivery date, it was a confirmed one! Next given an email address to contact, result was a reply, this mailbox is no longer in use. Phone the store back but they insist this is the right mailbox.....Mickey mouse outfit, no idea what they are doing. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered my sofa's devastated. Whole family have no where to sit but SCS not interested in the slightest

I finally got through to customer services, admitted they send out delivery dates before they have even got a definite date as they don't want to to have to store the sofas due to limited space. Therefore this happens often.

Worthless apologies with no intention to stop putting people in this position. I am so worried about the quality of my sofa's now I know what a cowboy outfit they are

Bev at the store in Oldham was magnificent. Very knowledgeable, understood my needs. Didn’t rush me & even saved me a few quid on a clearance sofa. Excellent experience

From the no pressure initial visit to the store I was kept up up to date on the expected delivery date and even where the vehicle was on the delivery day.
Delivery was made on time and very efficiently by the delivery team

On time 2 very polite lads . Wouldn't hesitate go use scs again

We arrived at SCS and was met by Cathy, normally I hate being pounced on as soon as I step foot in a place, I want to take my time looking around before making any purchase, now that being said on this occasion, Cathy was friendly and gave us some advice and shared her knowledge of the showroom and how things worked by the sofa styles, materials etc. Cathy just said if we need anything just shout, within 10 mins we did shout for assistance and like Mr Bens taylor, there she was. Cathy helped with our needs and we did buy a new sofa. Thank you Cathy for the best sofa buying time.

I can’t recommend this branch enough, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and we want to say a massive thank you to Bev who helped us pick and order our sofa. She was incredibly friendly and the shopping experience felt so personal with her! We love the sofa although it did arrive with a few marks on- we are now getting this sorted with the insurance who contacted straight after we reported it. Thank you so much to the team! You’ve been amazing and we would definitely shop here again!

Lovely experience choosing my new sofa and fabric with the aid of Beverley at Oldham store . We went on Saturday to have a look and saw Beverley who was very knowledgeable about the sofas and fabrics. I saw the sofa I wanted but like to go away and have a think as it is a lot of money . Beverley wasn’t in the least bit pushy as was my experience in another well know furniture store hence I returned today (Monday ) and placed my order . Thank you so much for your help Beverley and I will not hesitate to recommend both SCS and yourself . Xx

Excellent service from start to finish, sales man was brillent, explained everything and showed us sofas that met our requirements, including the different colours and fabrics. Delivery men kept in contact, very polite and helpful.

The remote armchair does not have a head support like the settee does.
The 2 arm chairs are slightly higher than the settee.

We went to the Oldham ScS store and Cathy was extremely patient and helpful when we were choosing a settee

We’ve just been into the Oldham branch and would like to say Cathy (the sales assistant) was incredibly professional and a pleasure to deal with. On entering the store we were afford the time to walk through the doors and was gently greeted by Cathy and we politely said we were just browsing at the moment. Following our browse round the store we settle on a particular sofa… and again Cathy wait the appropriate time before re-engaging with us, asking if we needed help. She was extremely helpful in assisting us with selecting a fabric and colour. Again she gave us space and time to discuss our options, privately. We made our choice and Cathy arranged the paperwork and finalised the sale… we left happy and content. Her professionalism was excellent and in the modern climate of pushy sales assistant… her gently approach was certainly the difference! She is an absolute credit to her company!

She was very helpful, informative & patient making sure that we were entirely happy with our purchase. She explained everything thoroughly (even advised us on her cruise 🤣 Bob might be persuaded now 🤣)

Both delivery guys were pleasant and efficient. Delivery time was perfect, if not slightly early (we were contacted before the delivery, both by text and email, and then by phone, so this was OK. Item was assembled and tested, and all packaging etc removed. Very pleased with the service we received, both from the store and the delivery team.

Was expecting the usual ‘hard sell’ when looking for a new ‘3 piece suite’, but was pleasantly surprised.
On entering the store my wife and I was acknowledged by Cathy and she pointed out that there was a sale on and advised to take our time and she would be around if we needed her.
After looking around both floors of the store we saw a couple of options but needed clarification on available colours, luckily we saw Cathy passing by and called her over. Cathy listened to our questions and then went out of her way to find large colour swatches to drape over the display sofa so we could visualise the finished items.
Cathy also informed us we could change the feet on the items to gliders to make moving the furniture easier.
We felt no pressure at all and were very comfortable in purchasing the ‘3 piece suite’.

Joanne jones was the employee that helped us and she was incredibly helpful and easy to get on with. She showed care in our specific situation and showed obvious consideration about everything we wanted. She was extremely nice and very easy going

Cathy at the Oldham store is a god send! We walked in with a particular sofa in mind however when we discussed ours needs with Cathy, she talked us through our options and showed us the sofas she thought would be suited to us (I have mobility issues). I’ve never been provided with so much information and advice when shopping for a sofa (or any furniture). We decided on a gorgeous new recliner sofa and are now awaiting its delivery!

Cathy is extremely helpful and a credit to the Oldham store. I’d highly recommend and will be back in a heartbeat if I need another sofa (hopefully not for a while)
